Judging by the reviews, this place is not for everyone. For me it has the nostalgia of older style cafeteria/diners so you have to have a certain amount of appreciation for that to begin with. Not a super young crowd but I enjoy the Americana comfort food here and think it's a cute wholesome place to go. Also you can eat at the bar in the casino and they'll bring your food to you if you like that sort of thing. The main point I came here to make however, is that they possibly have the best French dip in town. I liked it better than the ones at Mom's and Irene's anyway, no shade.

Just okay. It was convenient for late arrival on a holiday, but staff completely ignored us for five minutes before we were finally seated, even though they walked past us multiple times, and later other diners were seated immediately. We ended up getting seated at a table where the previous customers' tip money still was.Communicaton with the waiting staff wasn't the best. We had our drinks ordered, then were handed a menu, which confused us, as we wanted to eat from the buffet and not order. Other diners were more helpful then the waiting staff. The buffet was quite pricey for the quality and items that they offer. The macaroni and ham were the only things worth getting. Found a piece of hair on one of the place. There was even more confusion and poor communication when it came time to pay. Needless to say, we only ate there on our first night. Didn't bother to go back for breakfast. It's convenient if you're staying at the resort and just arrived in town, otherwise, there are much better places to eat in town. They don't even give you a discount if you're staying at the resort.

There is not much variety to choose from here. We were there for lunch potato I was served it was bad and I should have sent it back.

It was the worst buffet dining experience I have ever been to. We had their Saturday night prime rib buffet. The prime rib was medium/medium well done. I asked for a thick piece like the gentleman before me got, the slicer denied my request and said he was not allowed to and sliced a thin slice for me . The meat was as tough as tough roast beef. The only other meat choice in this buffet was roast chicken. Very few dessert selections and very few other items. Definitely not worth the $19.95. The only good thing at this restaurant were the waitresses, they were very nice. It's too bad they work at such a bad restaurant.

Service people was rude and food was grade school level. They close so early. These people need to go back to basic on learning how to do business. Sad sad sad

Food is buffet style. However, they do make fresh waffles. I'm happy with my choices. The bus boy was more active than the wait staff.

The food is average for your normal buffet. It's hot and plentiful. Not bad if you are just looking for a quick bite.

This place is NOT good. I won't be coming here again. The prime rib was medium well... hello people? Prime rib should be medium rare. 130 deg internal.

My wife and I are staying at the Saddle West hotel, but that's a different review. The café and buffet are open, limited occupancy of course. My wife and I went down there, we were seated right away. There were 3 other tables in use and that's it. We sat there for 8 minutes and went completely ignored. No drinks. Nothing. We got up and walked out. She probably didn't even notice. Also, and I understand it's Vegas, but the cafe is right off the casino floor and it reeks of cigarette smoke. Huge no no. Oh well.

The food here is SO terrible that it's almost intriguing. Not intriguing enough to pay for it, but just to go and take photos of it. Stare at it. Ponder it's existence. We went on a prime rib night. The only edible thing was the prime rib. While they did try to give me a few thin slices, they did accomodate me when I asked for a few more. I was so incredibly shocked at how bad the food was. Even the vegetables were the sad, soggy pre-frozen type. Jello. Individually plastic-wrapped sheet cake. Jello. So much jello. Fried things, left and right. Just looking at this 'buffet' might give you diabetes, and not in the delicious sugary/carb way. I should mention that I *love* casino buffets. I LOVE buffets. I love sampling lots of delicious looking items. But this....... this was not a buffet. It was dish after dish of 'ewwwwwwwww methinks NOT!'. The staff were pleasant. The restaurant itself is pretty meh. But if the food was good, I wouldn't care about the decor, etc. PASS this place by unless you are a hipster photographer and want some intriguing shots of a different world of food.

Sandy, Teena and Matt are great servers! We love the breakfast buffet before classes. It isn't super high end, but good enough for us before Frontsight. I like the biscuits with country gravy: they don't throw sausage in it which is good and rare (I don't eat meat). Also, great omelet bar.

Very smoky in the restaurant. $3.25 Bloody Mary was nice and spicy. All the other food seemed to lack spice- perhaps to accommodate the elderly clientele. Fries has no seasoning or salt, but still good. Reuben was pretty good. Over easy eggs were way to the light side. Was worth the try. $30 seemed pricey for the food and quality for a two person breakfast. Didn't try the buffet, but it looked very basic. Staff was nice

I was invited to breakfast at the Silver Spur and decided to do the buffet. All of the buffet items were full and looked fresh so I made my usual choices. I would have liked to have an omelet but there was a line of 5 people in front of me so I decided to go with the scrambled eggs instead. Upon returning to the table the waitress had already served the coffee and water. As I began to eat I was soon disappointed with the temperature of the eggs, home style potatoes and the bacon as these were all cold. The biscuit and gravy however was piping hot. I also enjoyed the coffee as it was fresh brewed and delicious. I saw some other guests ordering fresh waffles and they looked awesome but I decided to forego them for a cheese danish and a second cup of coffee. All in all the dining experience was ok except for the cold Buffett items.

This is just like an old school Las Vegas buffet. Hearty, home style food and lots of choices on the salad bar. We had pork and beef ribs, baked potato bar, sugar free desserts, and soft serve ice cream.

Let me explain first my rating. For what it is, an average casino buffet and restaurant, it's a good value for the money. What it's not is five star zagat rated cuisine. Vegas has that an hour away. Wait staff is good, sometimes a little slow when busy but almost always attentive. Buffet is decent and food is always better than average, except the desserts, they're just ok. Always open when come here but at times no buffet. Salad part of the buffet looks good and filing, and the regular finder portion is always full, even when about to close the buffet. Regular menu items are good and average, nothing special and nothing to write home about. Did subtract one star, mainly due to service today, which was lackluster. This is atypical of my experience. Normally it's much better.
