We hired 19th Hole for a private party. I reached out to Jaylan who planned our whole event from beginning to end. I had no problems getting ahold of him for communication when planning the event. The atmosphere inside this place is really amazing. It was very clean with beautiful views and classy music playing in the background. The bar and service staff were extremely attentive and had great customer service skills. They had extreme attention to detail. I can't say enough about how pleasant and polite Sarina and Kimberly were. Also, I would have to say that the kitchen staff here are top notch! They brought us out a fantastic four course meal. We had a choice between prime rib, ribeye, and chicken cordon bleu. Everything from the appetizer to the salad to the entree and dessert were absolutely delicious! Jaylan and his team really knocked this out of the park in every aspect. Will definitely be coming back to this establishment and especially would like to book another private party. Everything went perfect and it was a perfect evening.

This is a review of this summer's monthly Pop-Up dinner at the 15th hole of Lakeridge Golf Course. I secured our spots by winning Duncan Golf's scratch-off game at the Toast of Summer event earlier this year. I've never heard of these special monthly dinners before, so I was very excited to go. We were advised to be at the 19th Hole Restaurant and Bar at 5 PM, and supposedly, a shuttle will come pick us up and drop us off at the 15th Hole at 5:30. We were there on time, but others were not, so there was a little bit of wait and we didn't actually leave the restaurant until closer to 6 PM. Not a good start to the evening, but since this is a comped dinner, I was willing to let it go. The shuttle doesn't actually take us right on the green, so the 20 or so guests had to hop onto golf carts that took us to the tee box where dinner would be served. There was a bar set-up and the servers were in the middle of prepping for the night. Champagne and appetizers (prosciutto-wrapped shrimp) were passed around. A couple of stand-alone tables and a few chairs were scattered about so the guests can further enjoy the food, drinks, and the views. And what a view it was. Definitely, the star of this dinner. The tee box is in a shaded area and overlooks Lake Stanley and the city of Reno. It's simply breathtaking. John, our host for the night, hopped from guest to guest, making sure everyone was having a great time. After soaking in the views taking numerous photos, it was time for dinner. We picked our seats and met the people at our table, who, as luck would have it, were connected/employed by Duncan Golf in one form or another. They were awesome and made the dinner very enjoyable indeed. As for dinner, Chef Eric (who is also the head chef of the 19th Hole Restaurant) prepared one delicious dish after another, complemented by wines provided by Luna Winery. The first course was a berry and blue cheese salad, followed by halibut with mango puree, then lamb lollipops with lemon and garlic risotto, capped with a decadent mango panna cotta for dessert. I'm not a wine connoisseur (an understatement), so i'll say nothing more of the wines other than I enjoyed each glass of it. That's the beauty of a wine-pairing. The experts get to decide what you should have with your dinner, and I'm all for it! Overall, it was such a delightful evening, and I kept thinking how lucky I was indeed to have won our spots to the dinner. I was definitely not aware that this pop dinner was going on in the city. The fantastic food, wines, the company, the ambiance, and of course, the view, made for a very special evening. There's been a lot of events on the 15th hole other than the pop-up dinners in the summer~ birthdays, anniversaries, company events, etc. If anyone wants more info on the dinner and other events, contact John Franklin - (775) 360.7856 Bonus perk for the night ~ we met not only the resident golf instructor, the tournament manager (?), and the events coordinator of Duncan Golf, but also one of the main distributors of wine and spirits to the city.
