gritty icing, and tasted like a box cake mix. no fillings or really any cohesion to the flavors. cheaply made and wildly overpriced.

The cupcakes were Very dried out and some were as hard as rocks! I will not return! I bought 6 and wish I could have returned them! The cupcakes were terrible! The frosting was ok. Service was ok but wish she would not have sold bad dried out cupcakes! Definitely not fresh!! This location: 15 Foothill Rd, Reno, NV 89511 you couldn’t pay me to try them again!

I didn't know a cupcake could be that bad. Tastes like a napkin

this business seems to have a hard time with cash transactions. Or they just want tips. stopped by for one. The young gentleman seemed dumbfounded when he opened the cash register and no coins were available to reimburse my $5. Doubt that I was the first person at noon.

If you like dry cupcakes and do not like good customer relations, go to this business! My bride to be and I went to the Batch Cupcakery to order for our upcoming wedding. The owner gave us samples of the cupcakes we wanted, she put them in a plastic container, she said they were made that morning. We proceeded to give her a deposit and We took them home and taste tested them. Walmart has better cupcakes! They were dry, crumbled as we put a fork to them, frosting was hard, totally disappointed! I sent the owner a message and asked about the freshness of the cupcakes, told her they were dry. She insisted that we must of left the cover off of them for several hours for them to be dry! Basically blaming us for the dryness of Her cupcakes! Never an apology or anything said by her to keep our business! I canceled a $250 order because of her attitude and her horrible cupcakes.

I got over a dozen of these cupcakes as a thank you gift for my baby shower! I was a little bumbed that they didn't have little individual boxes for each cupcake but ended up finding some on Amazon. The cupcakes themselves were pretty good (I tried 2 off them), but not to die for. The frosting was a little too sweet for my taste - yes, I know how ironic that sounds since they are cupcakes! The service was great.

Oh my goodness! I love Batch. I'm a very disciplined diabetic and was very skeptical when I saw they had Keto options. The gal at the counter helped me find almond flour thin mint cookies sweetened with monk fruit. Sooooo good, zero guilt, no blood sugar spikes, and hello deliciousness; I'm in love with the kind people who cook something special for everyone. I feel remembered and loved at Batch. You should go!

I wish I could recommend this place because the actual aesthetics of it are great. It is exactly the kind of place you would want to come hang out. The best thing I can say about the cupcakes is they use really great frosting we bought for different flavors so they can't say it was a bad batch. Each one of them was Grainy, dry and not with a great flavor. We ended up throwing out the bottoms and just eating the frosting. It was an expensive exercise. We did not get any of the specialty vegan, gluten-free or Paleo. We got the regular ones, but I do not recommend them. There is no spongy quality or moistness to these cupcakes. In fact, they felt old.

Dry and under iced. I think these were an old bake. Not worth the money. We tried two different flavors and both were dry and bland

We recently moved into a home near Batch Cupcakery. As cake lovers, we decided to check it out right away! We went with the kids and grandparents, and selected cupcakes for after dinner. They were beautiful, but so disappointing… for such expensive and attractive cupcakes, they were extremely dry, and just not very good. Fast forward a few months, and I am having a great deal of trouble finding a bakery in Reno that will make a lemon flavored cake for my son's 8th birthday. This is my son’s favorite flavor. I decided to give Batch Cupcakery a second chance. I like to support local businesses, it’s a convenient pickup on party day, and they do a lemon flavored cake. I went in to order a cake for 20ish people, I chose the 10” round, and gave the details… It's $200! Whoa, I’ve bought full sheet cakes for less, so I go with the 8” instead. The cake looked nice when I went to get it. They won’t write a message on it for you, but it was frosted with a beautiful blue color. At the party, however, I had an incredibly difficult time slicing it, as there was a very tough crust on the outer cake beneath the frosting. Even my sharp knife couldn’t pierce it without squashing the cake below. Then it was served to the guests, and my daughter shouted out, “Mom this isn’t cake, it’s cornbread!” The cake didn’t taste like lemon at all, and it did taste exactly like dense cornbread. What’s worse, the fruit filling wasn’t present within the slices, as it had gathered in the center at the bottom and didn’t cling to the dense slices at all. Nobody liked the cake. Clearing the party table, I just threw away piece after piece of cake with only a polite bite or two eaten. It was really embarrassing, and I was so sad to have disappointed my little son. To be clear, I ordered a normal birthday cake, nothing vegan or gluten free. I used to manage a business, and I know how important it is to receive feedback about your products, so that you can do better next time. I called Batch Cupcakery the next day, and left a polite message asking for the manager to call me. The girl asked what about, and I said briefly that we had a cake the previous day that wasn’t great. An hour later, the same girl called me back to say that the manager would not be calling me, that she only does personal calls for orders or questions, and that I’d need to submit my feedback via their online inquiry form. I was pretty offended by this, and explained that I had wanted to deliver private feedback, but that if I was going to take the time to write about my experience that I would post it publicly, and that I would appreciate a call back instead. Needless to say, they didn’t call me. Not only have I had an expensive disappointment here two times, but it’s pretty clear that this business doesn’t value its customers very highly if they can’t take two minutes to hear about my bad experience. I will never be back.

Went into the store to buy a vegan cupcake. They didn’t know what flavors they had in the case
