I had the pleasure of enjoying the tri tip sandwich today. I am always a bit apprehensive about tri tips being tender and not being dried out. I was extremely pleased when I discovered how tender, flavorful, and juicy this sandwich was! The gentlemen in the food truck were very cordial and pleasant which made the entire experience that much better! (And the fact that he was wearing a SF Giants cap helped!)

Had the tri tip sandwich and tri tip nachos while at 10 Torr, from Battle Born Truck. The beef is sooooo tender and flavorful! I have never had anything so good! This is by far the BEST food truck food I have ever had!!!! So sad I slit it with my wife, I could of ate it all on my own!!!!

I went to Battle Born Food Truck on Friday, April 3, 2020. It was parked at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada in Carson City. Because of the state shutdown due to the coronavirus, this business decided to host a community dinner and give away a free meal to all who showed up! Here is the announcement in Carson Now, the local newspaper, for posterity's sake (and because I am a n****** Cars lined up in the parking lot, then onto Northridge Drive, and all the way to Russell Way. When I got there, about an hour before the start time, there were already four or five cars ahead of me. Once they started, the line of cars moved fast though. You stayed in your car, due to social distancing, and they asked you how many meals you needed. Then, within 15-20 seconds or so, they placed the food in a box, and gave them to you. The employees who placed your order and served you the food were super nice. One even made sure the box didn't spill when she placed it in my passenger seat. The meal consisted of: one strip of skinless chicken on a skewer one rib white rice with pineapple, green onions, and carrots sweet coleslaw with cranberries a mini cupcake I ate everything except the cupcake, as I wanted to eat healthy. I was so happy, I couldn't wait to get home, so I pulled over and ate it, lol! And the coleslaw was to die for...I have never had it so tasty! When I was leaving, onto Northridge Drive, I couldn't make a left turn, as the line of cars for the community dinner was backed up in the travel lane going that direction; so I made a right instead, then a right onto Russell Way, before I made another right onto E. William Street. I am glad so many people came out, and they could help everyone one. Kudos to Battle Born Food Truck for doing this. I will always remember this and stop by sometime in the future!
