We were there to celebrate our friend's 27th anniversary. I called ahead to get a bottle of champagne placed on our table before we arrived. We arrived to delightful staff and a wonderful dining experience! I had the ahi tuna and my husband had steak frites. Everything was superb! We can't wait to go back!!

This is a wonderful restaurant. As good as you will find in the French countryside. The food is exceptional and the wine list is extensive with a nice by the glass selection as well. Our waiter, Lee, was attentive, professional and not over bearing. We had a perfect 53rd anniversary dinner there and we will be back to enjoy this fine dining experience in the near future.

My experience was pretty disappointing. Going based off of the reviews it looked promising however it quickly turned into a restaurant that I would not be eating at again. I ordered a glass of wine. I found a piece of cork floating in it and when I brought this up to the waiter they said it was sugar or sediment. In my experience, sediment usually doesn't float. Next the food was mediocre. The baguette appeared to be store bought. The escargot was not in shells. The crab salad was not lump crab and was just placed over a bed of asparagus. The quail was crusted like a chicken tender. The scallops were overcooked and the plating was thrown together. The service was very disorganized. I saw the waiter at the beginning and end of the meal. The restaurant is in a cute house but that's all I could say about this restaurant It was overpriced and food and service underwhelmed.

We visit here far too much ? but there's a reason for that! All the servers are amazing! Food is worth the wait (which can be long) but that's due to how fresh everything is! There isn't a place in town that matches the daily menu selection that this place puts out! ?

This was our first dining experience at Beaujolais Bistro and I made the reservation as "standard" seating, not sure what that meant at the time. The location is really nice, right across the street from the Truckee River and some tables have a nice view of this. Upon arrival there was a lovely fire going in the fireplace and there were a few patrons but most tables were empty (5:15 reservation). We were taken through an alcove into another room that was very cold. This room was also mostly empty and we were seated at a table with no view. I asked if we could move to a table with that beautiful view and they were very accommodating. Our waitress was lovely and very informative about the food choices. Here's where things go south. The onion soup was mostly onions with very little broth and tepid. Two of the other entrees were also lukewarm and very salty. The scallops were well received. The deserts were wonderful.

The staff as a whole were very friendly and professional with the exception of one member whom greeted us in without much personality or simply wishing a Happy Valentine. Outside of this first impression everything else exceeded our expectations.

We always enjoy the delicious meal here and the wonderful service. Truly a special occasion when we dine at Beaujolais Bistro. We love that the menu changes and some favorites remain.

Food, service, ambience were all excellent. The food was a tad pricey but well worth it. The escargot and onion soup was excellent. Closest thing to Paris you will find in the Reno area!

I had very high hopes for going here but instead I was underwhelmed. The cocktail drinks were just okay, not the best and not a large selection of cocktails either. My husband had the French onion soup and for how much soup he did receive, we expected decent sized entree portions - we were wrong. The entrees were tiny for how much you pay, and I mean TINY. For $47 a plate, I am expecting to not leave the restaurant hungry. Also, I was surprised because it was my husband's birthday and they did not comp the dessert. The service was okay, nothing spectacular or over the top. Overall, I was very underwhelmed and not impressed. I would much rather go to a casino steakhouse but to each their own.

Celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary at Beaujolais (as usual) and it was wonderful (as usual). Lee served us and was as friendly, kind, and professional as always. Shelby chatted us up, which was very nice. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, and we love the feel of the place, although my wife was a bit cool.

My wife and I got ripped off on our entrees especially mine after looking at a picture. Seemed I had more fries than steak when I ordered the Steak Frites. I will be filing a complaint with my credit card company and seeing if I can get a partial refund against the entrees.

Haven't been seated in a French restaurant since Wulff 's French Restaurant in Sacramento....1984. A most excellent dining experience with you fine folks. Service was extraordinary. The food exquisite, the ambiance welcoming and all staff we dealt with; professional. The lad with 2 days experience (busboy) handled his duties very well. Our waiter; a perfect server. He didn't hover, which we appreciate. And I loved the bartender as she served our main course, answering our queries with aplomb. We will return. Thank you ALL for a fine dining experience

If you want French food in Reno, this is the place to go! The service was great, as always! We had a regular server, Lee, very friendly! The food was well prepared; however, the escargot was a bit salty this time around. Will continue to recommend and dine here often!
