Absolute gem of a Mexican restaurant in Reno. We stumbled onto this restaurant after landing early at the airport, and I'm so happy we did. The restaurant is adorable...it feels like the outdoors was brought indoors with fountains, exposed brick and skylights. The tables have beautiful Mexican tiles. We had the Paloma, which was delicious..homemade chips and salsa were also delicious. We did not have lunch but all the food passing by us looked authentic, delicious, and plentiful.

walked in and instantly felt a home vibe?got sat quick, had service and food quick while nothing of our actual experience felt rushed :) i had the appetizer sampler, having a taste of a quesadilla, chicken taquito and beef chimichanga along with the guacamole, pico de gallo were all delicious! stomach could only handle this for tonight though i’ll be back to try the main dishes! mangoleada was dangerously good, no surprise it’s kept from the summer menu. thank you! will be back. definitely to take a picture of the unique sunflower table i was sitting at - SO PRETTY. restaurant feels taken care of loved ❤️?

It's easy to feel like you're part of the family when you eat here. Entrees are $15-$20 a plate, but that gets you large portions, staff that is polite, attentive, and leaves you to enjoy your food at your pace. There's a big skylight in the center and an outdoor patio, but because of cold whether it was closed when we were there. There was a short wait to be seated, but the man at the front took out phone number down so we could grab a drink from the bar nearby while we waited.Parking: The lot next to the restaurant fills quickly, but there is a couple lots within a block that are usually empty or close to it.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp on the west side of the building that is textured, but ADA compliant for sure. Not sure how accessible the outdoor patio is.

Been coming here recently. Tonight, I ordered Chile Con Queso (Peppers with Cheese", which did not come with any chips for the first time ever. When I asked why I did not get any chips, the worker told me I need to order it separately. I told her, " I've never heard of Queso being served without chips." She told me I would have needed to order "Chips and Salsa" for $9 in order to have chips for my queso. The queso was $16! I wouldn't have ordered any queso if I had known it did not come with chips. The worker told me it was due to "new management" but eventually did give me it for free, while making it appear as if she was doing me a favor and informing me that next time I need to order it. I have never needed to order chips for my queso before, including at this restaurant!TLDR: This is absurd price-gouging to make me spend $9 for a side of chips to come with my $16 queso. I will no longer be coming here.PS. Look at the picture to see if you think it is acceptable to serve this without chips.
My fav! Their vegan options are amazing!
