Did not appear to be busy, perhaps more training for wait staff. Food was over cooked so much there was no visible chicken in the breading, no cheese in the mozzarella sticks. On the bright side, the prime rib was excellent.

The crab cakes were quite bland. The bread served with the crab legs was cold and tasteless. The utensils provided to open the crab legs were very poor plastic. It was a very disappointing first time experience

Made a reservation in advance. So glad we decided on this venue for my Boyfriends birthday dinner. Food was so good & seafood was fresh and sweet. The oysters were perfectly chilled & so good. The seasoned sauce of the crab feast was very flavorful & just the right heat. Warm lobster roll was delicious. Service was excellent, our server Hayden was very knowledgeable regarding menu and helped us put the perfect meal together for us all to enjoy. She was so Amazing she heard us say we were celebrating a birthday and she brought out their lovely vocal cords sang happy birthday & brought a very yummy dessert for the birthday boy! We enjoyed our dinner experience very much & will be back! Thank you Hayden for adding fun vibes & excellent service to our celebration dinner experience.

Food was not good at all. Wings were way over cooked and tough, almost as they were refried. Also did not taste right. Then ordered a burger that looked way undercooked in the middle and fell apart off the bun

We loved the menu and made a reservation during Hot August Nights - which made the restaurant, the service and the noise a bit chaotic! But we thought the service was good and the food tasty. Whatever red sauce came with the calamari, should be bottled and sold! Lobster role was tasty, crab cakes tasty- there were just no complaints. Truth be told? We went there three times it was that good! GSR has up'd their game with these restaurants!

Decent portions of food and it was tasty if a bit pricey. Able to catch a meal before a show, recommend reservations or it gets chaotic. Hopefully they fix the side that is all window, as the sun beats in for hours and turns to a sweatbox. Overall good restaurant for watching sports on the many televisions and food to go with that.

We decided to try this new place at grand Sierra to have dinner with out-of-town friends. The decor is unique and the booths are comfortable. The service was good the food, however, is pricey for what you get I had cooked shrimp that was excellent but my wife's hot shrimp were not large as stated and they also were undercooked. They are also peel and eat it and in a liquid serving it is very messy we would not recommend this item. Our friends both had the shrimp tacos and they said they were delicious. be aware this is a à la cart restaurant so you pay for everything you get. We are not sure we will return.

Service never came back to ask to refresh our drinks. I went to bar to get a refill. Waitress walk up to the bar next me to place an order. She must have noticed because she came to the table to ask my wife if she would like a refill. The place didn't seem too busy. Food is overpriced and the lobster roll and crab sandwich was so so. I guess i'm spoiled with Maine lobster rolls and Maryland crab cakes. Unfortunately, Chickies does come close.

Food was horrible we eat here every time we stay at Grand Sierra pretty much same order too. Steak was burnt and was ordered medium rare. Pizza was over cooked so much the cheese was hard and crust burnt. Our waitress was great but for an almost $200 bill I would never eat here again

The food was pretty good, but the server was so rude It made the experience a bad one. We were staying at the GSR for work (as we regularly do), and decided to go to the California Pizza Kitchen for dinner. We were a party of four, and we each had to maintain receipts of our meals for expense purposes. We asked our server if we could please get separate checks, as we planned to charge the meals to our individual rooms. The server actually rolled her eyes at us and made a disgusted face- we thought she must be joking at first since it was so blatantly rude. But she wasn't joking at all. She said that they don't normally split checks for anyone, but she would do it for us this time. Then the overall service was terrible, even though the restaurant was not busy. When the checks came out, they had a space to charge the meal to your room just like every other restaurant at GSR. We come to the GSR regularly for work, and have never had this happen in any restaurant. Service has always been great, until we went to the California Pizza Kitchen. If they want to be the only restaurant at GSR that will not split checks, that's their prerogative. But they should teach their server some manners.

Disappointed after lot of parking effort and long walk to restaurant in casino, this is a franchise that would not accept CPK gift cards. The food was ok but a little pricey. Service was good with plenty of wait staff and cooks. Nice they take reservations as although we were able to walk right in, imagine there are busy times where there may be a wait like the buffet line.

Omg! Where is Robert Irvine when you need him! The grossest food I literally got sick ! I ordered avocado stuffed wantons! Check out this picture of old grease, deep fried junk(this is not wontons folks) filled with premixed crap! My $20 got me 6 2 and a half inch 3/4 empty pieces of premade garbage! No thanks!

Excellent food! If you go, ask for Diana (Di), she will NOT disappoint!!! Loved her attitude and work ethic. So professional!

The restaurant is closed on Sundays... not sure why you let me make a reservation. We drove an hour to Reno from Gardnerville specifically for this place. We were utterly disappointed

I have no complaints about the service but I'm sorry to say that the price quality ratio for this place just isn't good enough. That was a Domino's kind of pizza for $25+... Quality needs to improve to justify the price tag
