We visited for the first time today on a recommendation from a fellow food lover. It's in Golden Valley, which is a bit of a drive for us, but if the experience is good the drive would be worth it. It was a Sunday afternoon and the might have previously had a rush, but most of the tables weren't really wiped and there was trash and debris on the floor. Keeping the dining area clean should be a regular duty because I always think if the front isn't clean how is the cleanliness in the back and on food prep? We ordered a Quesabirria ala carte taco (that was recommended), 3 enchilada combo plate, flauta combo plate, side guacamole and a michelada. It came with complimentary chips and salsa-chips were thick, hard and cold so we didn't eat those. The michelada was good and the guacamole was also. I ordered carne asada for the flautas and they were good but had some really hard pieces like cartilage or gristle. My husband loved the enchiladas and rice and beans. The biggest disappointment was the Quesabirria taco-it was just off. The dip tasted old-I only had one bite and didn't eat the rest. I was really hoping for a good overall experience and maybe they were just having an off day.

I don't know why they up charged us so much for these tacos but it says 1.50 per on the menu and somehow got charged 35 for 9.Should have read the earlier reviews about the price.

Menudo was 7 out of 10. Friends had breakfast burritos and they rated 7 out of 10. Expensive for taste.

A well run restaurant, solid mostly authentic Mexican food, great salsa bar, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I order lunches once a week, and take home dinner about once a month for the family. Great place, needs my overdue recommendation. Thanks guys!

Paid for two breakfast. Got one delivered. When I approached the counter to speak to them I was ignored. And then told me only one was paid for. Double checked my receipt and bank statement. 50$ for one breakfast at $17 .. I'm not the best at math but ‍ always have high reviews of this place until this encounter. Needles to say. Go elsewhere.
