I'm not seeing any recent reviews, I am a former employee at El Pescador. The service was always good and I loved the food. I'm hoping things haven't changed. The Carne Asada is one to try, the Shrimp wrapped in bacon was one my favorites and I liked their shrimp cocktails and their Ala Diabla sauce was great too. I'm hoping people will continue to review them, because I think it's worth trying.. Their menu is full of great choices. I hope folks will continue to dine here.

Delicious restaurant with great maritime ambience and excellent service. From the moment we walked in, the wait staff was attentive, even refilling our complementary corn chips without even being asked (a rare thing for most Mexican restaurants I've been to). The meal portions were abundant, unique, delicious, and very reasonably priced. The decor was quirky and fun. Five stars for service and food quantity/quality.

Best To-Go Service Ever!!!Brenda provided excellent customer service at the desk, packing the order in double bags & making sure we had EVERYTHING we needed. The shrimp ceviche was excellent, so their cook is great!

Really disappointed at how this place has gone downhill. This place has been a fave for over a decade, you can only imagine my disappointment when ordered $80 worth of food and got home to find out they got my order wrong (i ordered 12 pieces of the Jalapeños Rellenos de Camarón) (they gave me four pieces, not enough for my whole family. I live an hour away and didnt think about checking my order before i left) and besides the fact i ordered my dishes extra spicy and they weren’t at all but what was even worse is when i bit into my taco….there was a giant hair embedded in the steak??When i tried to call to talk to someone i got no answer and the voicemail was not working. Sadly will not be going back after this last experience. Too bad.

His energy and friendliness made you feel like you had known him for years lol. Can't wait to go back for the good food and more laughter with Rodrigo ?

Really great food and kind staff. Had the the Chipotle Tilapia it was tangy, smokey and delicious.
If I can leave a negative star I will , food was disgusting and they didn't even try To accommodate us by Trying something different we had to buy a whole new meal and pay for the nasty a** meal they gave us hot a** drinks with no ice we had to ask for the ice. I asked for a plate on the side and it was dirty. The shrimp was raw and under cooked and very gummy. They took about 40 minutes To bring out our replacement meals. it was definitely the worst Mexican food we've ever had and experience. We are not picky with our food but this was terrible.

Utterly disgusting, dirty restaurant that feels like a money laundering front or something, considering how secondary the food feels, and how empty the place always is. Nothing is fresh. Place stinks like cockroaches. Nasty, nasty old Reno.

Food was great: Especially bacon wrapped shrimp. Grilled chicken burrito was cooked perfect. Wait staff was very nice and welcoming. Will be back.

The waiting staff is very attentive and welcoming as soon as you walk in. The selection of seafood is great and their oysters on the half shell are always fresh! Don't forget to ask for their aguachile salsa for your oysters! We've been coming here for years and they are very accommodating with clients requests and well aware of each dishes ingredients. If you're looking for a family friendly establishment with good micheladas check this place out!
