One of my all time favorite bakeries and have been coming here for years as well and introducing friends here throughout. Tonight my friend and I wanted something sweet and after tossing around a couple of places I suggested the Eldorado Bakery since I knew it was still open and there's such a great selection that it will satisfy any palate.I definitely needed this dessert therapy and got a total of 6 different desserts: a fresh fruit flan, a mini lemon cheesecake, a mini pumpkin cheesecake, a peanut butter chocolate brownie, a slice of double fudge chocolate cake, and a slice of lemon cake. My go-to fav is the fruit flan and the fresh fruit is still in season, which makes this my fav. My next favorite was the mini lemon cheesecake and the mini pumpkin cheesecake. They were so cute and tasty that it left me wanting just a little bit more. The chocolate and lemon cake slices are some original favs that never disappoint. I got the peanut butter chocolate brownie to take with me for work tomorrow.For crafting and creating such yummy desserts, everything is reasonably priced too--especially being in a casino. Because of this and many other reasons, the Eldorado Bakery will forever remain in my top spots for gourmet sweet treats. They even have gelato and a decent menu of different coffees. A good cup of Joe with a slice of cake is a good balance and definitely hits the spot.

Meh.It's actually a coffee shop with baked confectioneries for sale as well. These are duplicates of the coffee shop at Silver Legacy (all owned by the same corporation). I used to come here very often. Some time between 2015 and 2020, the items changed. There used to be several types of cheesecake but now only one. There used to be an amazing New York style cheesecake with sour cream on top that contrasted the sugary goodness underneath, and it was thick and amazing, but now it's gone. The only one left is some generic apricot cheesecake.I got the "German Chocolate" cake tonight, brought it home 5 minutes away to eat. Very dry and crumbly. Probably been sitting on the shelf for a while.It's a Friday. The casino was packed. Lots of gamblers about, so I'm not sure why fresh baked goods weren't on hand. It simply is not what it used to be.

We've come from Sacramento at least two times a year over the last 20 years, except during the pandemic years. I am happy to say that the El Dorado Bakery has always maintained its reputation for excellent tasting treats that use the highest quality fresh ingredients. We are particularly fond of the pastries called "lobster tails". Their Italian name is Sfogliatelle Riccia. They are authentically Italian and delicious with Caffe Espresso or even with an Americano. Enjoy this special treat from Italy only at the El Dorado Bakery, a real Reno gem!

This is one of my most favorite bakeries! Every time I see a play I have to make a pit stop - the windows are full of decadent desserts and it's always so hard to narrow down the choices. They had seasonal coffee flavors on their menu too. I preferred one of my go to is the banana cream pie which is small and perfect for one person, I slid had to order the peanut butter brownie which was rich and incredible. Since we ordered to go and my mom Wanted her gelato to go- the staff was very accommodating in helping her make a to-go container. If ever needing a large assortment of even a whole cake or lid I round definitely plan to call the el dorado bakery!

Have not been here since before Covid. The carrot cake was absolutely the best I have ever had. Must get another very very soon. Two Birthdays next month, just in time.

This bakery has the best BRAN muffins anywhere. Yes, I pay over $2 for one but they are that good. It is hard to find real bran muffins anymore. Most are made of white bleached flour with a brown color added. I like hearty good for you muffins and so this is the spot. They used to serve a smaller version in the buffet but now that it is closed this is the only way to get one. Easy to walk up ad buy and rarely a line and it is right next to the restaurant if you are heading that way. They have lots of other deserts and I have been happy with all but this is the main reason I buy here. Keep making these hearty bran muffins and I will eat there and stop at a slot on the way. I wish they had a smaller one where I can buy a dozen and eat one a day. But instead I split and share with my husband. And if you want coffee there is a variety of that. We generally get a cup each of the regular coffee with cream that is great too.

My husband has been on the "row" as it's called now for over twenty years in some capacity or another. Even before I met him I used to go to this dessert bar. Simply the best German chocolate cake around as well as red velvet. I recommend this place to everyone I know. Slightly better than Josef's Vienna Bakery and Bavarian World(absolutely love those two places). Get birthday cakes, desserts, chocolate strawberries, fruit tarts, doughnuts. Specialty cakes(got one right before the disaster surgery in 2018) it was a chocolate and apricot cake froze it and ate off it while I was healing. It was fantastic. The head baker from what I understand is German and hopefully will get meet him. The gelato is good too Joey my husband love it, but his absolute hard to find dessert white Coconut Cloud Cake it's usually on hand. He hunts it down every few weeks. The prices are reasonable and the service is really good. It's a dessert bar. As far as casinos go it's my top choice for desserts. Peppermill is best for meals not a major fan of their desserts however(except bread pudding). They changed their style a few years ago on sweets and not for the better. I was at one bakery in town for my dad's birthday and didn't have what was listed online. A woman came in behind me looking for a big German chocolate cake. I called Silver Legacy they had what her and I were both looking for. She raced over there and thanked me . Can't go wrong with anything at this dessert bar.
