This place was very unexpected when wr pulled up.It was really cool from the outside. We went into the place next door called the bones.It's a bar attached to the restaurant, so cool inside.We had our drink and socialized a little bit there. Then we went into the restaurant open seating , so we set next to some elite yelpers that we Met before. It's a great place to take a date.Or a party of 6. The food was spectacular. Italian cuisine, ravioli's calamari,the goat cheese ravioli's were delicious We really liked the tomato Bruschetta. The service was fabulous. we got to tr y so many items on the menu. We were served a champagne and also a red wine.Both were wonderful. I will definitely put this on my list for Italian cuisine. The ambiance was wonderful. It was a bit of a drive but definitely worth it. You need to come and try this.

Ambiance, food, and theme! Service like no other! There's guys sure know how to treat people and have fun events every week in The Bones. Took my friend for her birthday because we love pirates and are Italian which sums up the vibe of the place. Amazing wine made by Lido Bay, which the owner owns and has had running for over a decade! Haven't had a bad meal here and they really take care of having authentic, hand made pasta with the freshest ingredients. The stuffed gnocchi is delizioso. Tucked away in the hills of Sommersett this place truly is a hidden gem that makes you feel like you're away from the daily Reno life. Come make some friends at Gambi's!

Was definitely busy, which is great. But I am excited to come back here on a slower night! I immediately felt comfortable in the bar area and the food and dining area was fantastic. They had live music at 7ish and it was so fun to enjoy it with the rest of our dinner wine and listen. Will definitely be coming back.

Oh what a wonderful night this elite yelp event at GAMBI was absolutely amazing. The food was all fresh made in house. Chef Donato is awesome so friendly and food was fresh and very appetizing. If you have not been I suggest you check it out because like I said, the food is freshly made in house every day, my favorite was everything that I ate last night calamari spaghetti, and meatballs raviolis Tortellini and the wine pairing was great an. Gnocchi with the cream sauce they had were as light as can be. They were the best I've ever eaten. there's a bar next-door called the bones and it's really nice. They have live Music at night also in case you don't know where it's located it's up in the Somerset area in Reno Nevada

Another fantastic elite event with Yelp went to bones and have a very delicious cocktail before going in to the restaurant for an amazing meal the menu was so nice everything was elegant light so flavorful and feeling. First time at this restaurant the staff was so sweet and nice they were spot on and delivering all the meals and our drinks with friendly faces and smiles I recommend this gambi Italian cuisine to anyone who wants a quiet romantic place to enjoy the most excellent meal thank you for the opportunity to try this restaurant it was quite amazing

All I have to say is that this place is super cool. The food is on point and the staff is phenomenal! The owner Dave knows his wines and carries some very fine tequilas. Everything in the menu was bite size but grand. I will for sure be returning here for some main entrees. The atmosphere of this place is so cool they even have a cigar smoking area on the bar side! There is another bar on the resturaunt side for non smokers or people that can't stand the smell of smoke. 100% great place to be on the Northwest side of Reno

Truly enjoyed every dish that was served. They kept them coming. Tried a few dishes for the first time. The crowd was fun and friendly. The staff was attentive and really great. It's definitely a place to come back to.

My husband and I have loved Gambi's since our first visit in a few years ago. We were visiting the Reno/Tahoe area from Sacramento and this was definitely on our list. We came in with no reservations on a Friday night and got a nice booth kind of tucked into the corner which felt pretty romantic which we thought was a nice way to end our little getaway. You are given bread for the table with olive oil and balsamic which my husband always devours. I started with a glass of Pinot Grigio and the charcuterie board for one. The charcuterie board was HUGE for one person. It came with a fantastic selection of cheese. There were some meats, cruises and honeycomb as well. One of the best boards I have tried. My husband got the Arancini balls. He inhaled those before I could even get a pic of them. I ordered the Linguine Pescatora which was fabulous. A delicious seafood pasta which a slightly spice tomato broth. My husband got the gnocchi with chicken and creamy pesto sauce. The sauce was really creamy and delicious. Ethan was great and took wonderful care of us. We love the interior of this building and will never get tired of coming in.

From the appetizers to the entrées. The staff was amazing. The restaurant was beautiful. We really enjoyed ourselves. The chef came out and introduced himself. I highly recommend this restaurant! My whole family,party of 8 had a wonderful time.

Please order here and read the entire review. My husband and I ordered Gambi’s for the first time over a year ago via Uber eats. The driver dropped our meal in the drive way and then delivered to our door, so there was dirt in our food and a mess to clean up. We couldn’t eat it and after that and because we we just had a major family death, we were very upset and worn out. Anyways, we called the restaurant and they were so kind. They offered to reimburse but we never claimed it due to the family death.Here’s the good news: We decided to order again last week and have ordered twice this week via Uber eats because it was sooo good. The ingredients are so fresh and tasty and the temperature of everything was spectacular. We always expect our food to be a little off when we order through Uber eats i.e. salad might be a little warm or wilted by the time we receive it, food might be cold, and or verging on gelatinous.THIS WAS NOT THE CASE! The Caesar salad was fresh and they even gave us enough dressing. Most places don’t. The shrimp scampi was light and delicious. The chicken Marsala was hearty and beautifully paired with the mushroom appetizer we ordered. We also order one flourless chocolate cake, which was to “die for.” Over all the price to freshness to proportions was spot on. We definitely will be going here again. I’d imagine it would be even better in person and not just through Uber eats, but the fact it was that good after delivery wait times was thrilling. Thank you for knowing how to prepare Italian food. So good

So disappointing. Our service was great our food was not. Two out of the three chicken dishes came out cold. We sent them back only to have them returned lukewarm. Mashed potatoes cold as well.. Meatballs cold in the middle Which led me to believe they were frozen. Pasta definitely not cooked al dente.

Three of us ordered chicken piccata. Two of our dinners were cold and when we let the waiter know he took them back and when he brought them out again they were warm. That was disappointing because meals should always be served at temperatures above luke warm. The piccata sauce was also lacking flavor. Another person ordered rigatoni with meatballs and the center of her meatballs was cold. Our waiter was very good and friendly; he had a super great attitude. The bruschetta was amazing!

We love the food and ambiance, however, they only have one server who also works the bar. Consequently we actually had to go get him to order dessert to go and get our checks. He is a great server, fun and professional. It isn't his fault that the owner has him doing everything.
