I received an invitation to join some friends here for a two hour cocktail making event. I had no idea what to expect. I was frankly blown away. The owner Felicia is an educator by trade, an Alaskan Bush pilot and a Distiller that studied for the better part of a year in Northern Ireland. A renaissance woman actually and my kinda girl! This was only Felicia's second class she'd given but man, you'd never know it. Felicia gave the most articulate, interesting and humorous talk while we waited with bated breath and great anticipation with all of the accoutrements for crafting a no doubt fabulous cocktail sitting in front of us. I have a new found respect for Bourbon having no idea that Bourbon is king when lined up with its cousins, Scotch and other Whiskey's. My grandfather was a Bourbon connoisseur and the reason it was the first alcohol I ever drank, as well as an Alaskan Bush Pilot for 42 years so I was ALL ears listening to Felicia's expertise in these realms that felt like home to me. We as a group had so much fun deciding what wood to smoke our moonshine in and were aided and assisted along the way by Felicia herself along with her knowledgeable staff. When I thought we'd had all the fun we were going to have, food arrived. Yay! Even though we only had wee little shot glasses full of this and that, I was feeling it when food arrived and was grateful. You remember what Richie Cunningham from "Happy Days" said when asked if he'd had anything to drink he stated to his father "I only had 72 little shots"! Well we didn't have nearly that many but I will say you get a sweet buzz from this interactive experience. I absolutely recommend this experience at this very high quality establishment. It's a must for whiskey drinkers whether you know a little or a lot about the topic. Brava Felicia!

Our favorite local distillery! We have been here for the Build Your Own Bourbon and a cocktail making class. Both spirits were amazing and we can’t wait to come back for more. Highly recommend. It’s such a fun and educational experience!

We have been enjoying Highmark for over 5 years. The cocktail classes are so much fun and you learn how to make cocktails that you may never try. Taking home a base that you made in class for your new drink is always fun and exciting. Felicia and your young men are very nice and pleasant and fun. We also started making barrels of bourbon and whiskey and our friends always are asking for more. Love this place.

They have wonderful classes here! This weekend we made chocolate liqueur and took a jar home. It included a cocktail and snack we ate there. The owner, Felicia, presented the class and went into detail about how she started the distillery, and we learned so much about distilling! Enjoyed meeting new folks who were sitting at our table. The classes are offered almost every Saturday and each class is different.
