Strip mall is in reasonably good repair and cleanliness. Interior is clean and in good repair Slight language barrier. The steamed buns are excellent. They mass-produce instead of use small bamboo baskets, so, the buns are 'larger' and 'shorter.' The sweet-stuffing buns are very good. They serve various creams-, custards-, meats-, and purées- stuffed buns. They also make cakes.

Interesting place, and if you don't know what to order and are not familiar with this type of food, you might be disappointed because the gentleman taking orders was definitely not into answering any questions. I would have given a higher rating if it were not for the rather rude guy at the register. Super grumpy. There were 2 young girls there ordering boba drinks, and he was very snappy with them. Bad customer service. On the upside I really enjoyed the taro and wedding cakes. The shrimp and pork siu mai were delicious. I will go back again, but I can see where people may be turned off by this particular guy.

hands down the best (and most affordable) place to get some dim sum favorites in the city.

I gave this place a visit a few months ago and I've been in love ever since. I have yet to be disappointed by anything I've tried so far. Definitely recommend the Taro bun and the Egg Tart if you're looking for something sweet. Curry buns are a go-to for savory.

Siumai is the bomb! Everything was the bomb! The wrapper you could tell was freshly HAND made, their chili oil was super flavor and not super spicy so you could eat lots of it! Owner and his wife were super nice and accommodating. Thank you so much, who would have known there would be an authentic dimsum place in Reno? Amazing!

No frills, but it hit the spot. You'd have to order in larger quantities here, but I guess it's to make it worthwhile since it's being steamed fresh for you. I took it to go to the airport.

Went here today for the first time. Ordered a BBQ pork bun and a chicken mushroom bun and a napoleon. I was going to order some sesame balls.. And asked if they were fresh.. The guy just snapped at me saying.. "Of course they're fresh and it takes time to make them since I make them for you!" he then complained about other customers complaining about the wait etc etc. At this point I just asked. How long would it take? He then said 7-8 minutes.. Which wasn't a bad wait at all. But given the attitude, I just got my order and on my way out.. He reminded me . "next time call ahead!". To which I snapped back "it's my. First time here so I didn't know.. No need to shout at me" Only then did he calm down saying "I wasn't shouting.. Just said next time call" Both buns were average.. Edible but not great. The Napoleon was ABSOLUTELY inedible.. So overly dry, crumbly, and NO flavor.. I threw it out after the first two bites. Won't be back. I heard that the sesame balls here are fabulous.. But make sure to call ahead.. Or else the bakery nazi will shout at you.

A little hole in the wall with dim sum worthy buns, bites, and dumplings. Good prices, hits the spot on a cold afternoon. Zero eat in and the parking lot is a little sketchy but grub is satisfying.

Get here early. Delicious fresh. If you will be traveling, let them know so you can cook later at home yourself. The dry pork buns go very fast.

I can eat the siu mai until I am sick. I am always on the fence as to which is better-shrimp or mushroom. They are both so good. We also like har gow and steamed char sui bao. We got an 8" sponge cake recently and it was delicious, very similar to what we used to get in San Francisco. I am pretty sure anything they make is fantastic. I especially appreciate their flexibility to order ahead, pay by phone, and give me my dumplings frozen so that I can steam them whenever I am ready.

The Lotus Leaf Sticky Rice was 1 out of 5. It was very expensive. Two pieces for $10.50. Lacked flavor and seasoning. It was about 90% rice. The egg custard was 2 out of 5. The service was indifferent. It was about 4:40pm when I stopped by. There were lots of food still displayed in the cases and, I am guessing, will be sold the next day, the day after, or the day after that. Will NOT return.

Best Chinese bakery in this town by far! Consistently delicious. The plain red bean and green tea mooncakes are a must because my son loves them. We are also obsessed with the BBQ pork steam buns and chicken curry buns - they just cannot be beat!
