So after placing an order online for lunch , their online program said it would be ready at 6:04 pm. I called several times at lunch and busy line. So when I got off I called to see if they had my order for 6 pm. Oh yeah it will be ready. Ok, picked it up and it was the absolute grossest thing I have ever seen. It has been in their fridge since 11 am. Owner says not her fault. Done with Kei and their gross ass sushi. You do NOT serve 5 hour old sushi. Disgusting. Now throwing up and sick from this sushi. Going to the hospital. Filing a complaint.

Super fast and friendly service! Definitely love how they offer a different flavor profile and palette compared to other sushi joints. Really enjoyed the ceviche, salmon skin hand rolls and the Lily, Blossom, and Samurai. Also whoever was on aux had a fire playlist!

As a party of 6 we grabbed reservations well in advance for dinner sushi and when we arrived our table was ready for us! Cozy, tucked towards the back, perfect for our date night. I've never gone to an AYCE restaurant where you don't fill out the slip, which stressed me out at first, because creature of habit? But it turned out more than great. Our server was on it! Their sushi is very fresh, my husband said the best muscles in town. I liked all the options - it met all of the flavor pallets in our group.

Once again enjoyed a great meal! Birthday lunch for my friend, Did all you can eat as 2-3 rolls each would have been about the same cost and this way we each got an appetizer and my friend got ice cream with his meal. Drinks are not included but we each opted for ice water with lemon which is great with the salty sushi. We went about 1230 Saturday and got seated right away without a reservation. They did start to fill up after we got there. Our server was prompt and I was able to get the gluten free soy sauce as well as my crystal shrimp sushi which was divine! I love the crab strips on top of the Lily and this was my favorite! The Godzilla was good with the little bit of heat from the Siracha. My friend ordered the macho macho which is on the spicy side with Siracha and pickled Jalapeños. The Volcano came as two rolls and was very filling! We managed to eat most with my friend helping with mine. They do charge extra if you're unable to eat what you order but we didn't leave too much!! Stuffed but happy.

We went here for the first time the other night. Hidden in the plaza that Trader Joe's is in and what a gem. The restaurant is spacious with lots of tables and sushi bar seating. We didn't feel crowded with another table being too close either, which was very nice. Our server was fantastic. Checking in on us many times and offering suggestions. The food was delicious and creative. The rolls were good size and packed with flavor. They have all you can eat (AYCE) options for lunch and dinner for adults and kids. We will be back to try more options.

The sake salmon nigiri was good but I wasn't too much of a fan of their udon chicken soup. The vegis were freshly added but didn't really get cooked with the broth. Gyozas had skins that were a little bubbly.. maybe a bit too overfried, but the sauce was tasty. Plenty of parking in the lot outside but also possibly because it was a snow day when I went.

The sushi at Kei is very good quality fish with a good flavor and sauces added by the chefs. The appetizer selection is also very good and I would highly recommend the salmon skin hand roll. The one draw back of the restaurant is the absence of a paper to mark all you would to order for all you can eat sushi.

Very accommodating staff and a good menu.I always get the all you can eat, and if you are in for the nigiris and appetizers, would totally makes sense to do that. Their specialty nigiris are really good especially the kiss of fire, kei tuna and rooster salmon. As for the rolls, my favorites are red dragon, great white and toshi.

Food was amazing and had is own unique twist compared to other sushi in Reno. All the fruit seemed like a strange combination, but worked amazing with the fish. There was not a single roll I did not like. My only compliant was that there was no order sheet. I wished I didn't have to try and memorize everything I wanted to order.

This wonderful Japanese restaurant is a great find. It is tucked away in the Smithfield Mall in Reno. We discovered it while looking for a restaurant that would meet our time requirements for a performance later that evening. It had great reviews on Google. We decided to try it. The staff were welcoming and friendly. There was plenty of seating at the early hour. The interior of the building was larger than it appeared from outside. It was decorated in a Japanese style. We ordered from the sushi menu and were not disappointed. The sushi was prepared with care, and was delicious. the prices were in line with other sushi restaurants. We would recommend this restaurant to our friends or anyone who enjoys sushi prepared with pride.

My partner and I came in the weekend after valentines Day, but we made a reservation, and they had our table ready to go. Efrain (pronounced Efrin) was our server. He was absolutely lovely! Super kind, he answered all my questions sufficiently or got the answer promptly if it wasn't known. My partner and I got 6 rolls and 3 nagiri orders for our dinner time All You Can Eat (about $32 per person for the time). All made gluten free (for just $2 extra!) They have a gluten-free batter! Everything was delicious. The manager, Lucy, is also awesome every time we go in! Love this place, and I love eating in confidence with my allergies !! (I would like to note that I am not celiac, just a bad Wheat intolerance. So for me, frying everything in the same oil is fine, but for you, it might not be. They do ask if that cross contamination is okay)
