Every time I go up Mt Rose I stop here and pick up Spicy Cajun Chicken Fingers..and Honey Mustard dipping sauce. So moist on the inside, and wonderfully seasoned crunchy outside. They really are that good!!

This review is for the restaurant in the Golden Gate Petroleum at 5190 Sun Valley Blvd., Sun Valley, NV 89433. The chicken I had...four dark meat chicken thighs were pretty good...moist...good crispy Cajun spice flavor. The big wedge potatoes were okay but some of the larger ones were undercooked. The Mac and Cheese was creamy and good and the Jambalaya was okay. It was a very filling meal!!

this is an above average gas station with a wider than average selection of items, Lastly their customer service is always consistent and good but their chicken is the best in town by far better than KFC and Popeyes put together just don’t forget to put the dry Suraci sauce on it I get it every time I go skiing ????????

Hidden at the 76 gas station is this great chicken joint! My sister in law brought this up as she had it when she was in LA I believe so my husband was intrigued. He did some research and didn't realize it is a chain in Florida if I'm not mistaken. My husband loves fried chicken so this was up his alley. We had to try this hidden gem and we were impressed! The chicken was moist, tenders were good, the flavors weren't overpowering and fries were seasoned well. The biscuit was dense, some say it's dry, but I didn't mind it!

Wanted some chicken tenders without having to drive north to get. I stopped in around 1 pm, like late lunch time. I got the 12 tender box and a side of mashed potatoes with extra gravy. Oddly, other people behind me were asking about the tenders, and the staff was saying there wasn't enough, with no offer to make more? I was a bit confused on that to be honest. The mashed potatoes had barely any gravy. The person filled the bowl up too much with potatoes and so with the little gravy there was, it squished out the top and sides. The chicken was not bad, and was crunchy still, I would go back if headed up to the lake or something, but not sure I'd come back over other chicken places in town.

I would have never known to try this place out without help from waitress. Chicken is delish and juicy. Not dried out like other places out here. Also the options for a small location is what surprised me. Wish the Sun Valley one had more tables but it was worth the stop. I'll post photos of the food and sides but I inhaled my food before thinking of taking the pics.

There are certain things that locals know. In Mt Rose...where is the best after snow snack? Simple: gas station chicken. Even grabbed a 'snack' to tied us over for Christmas dinner. Some have commented on service. Reminder ... GAS STATION CHICKEN. to manage expectations: this is a gas station that has chicken and ... it is amazing.
