This place has it going on! The ambiance, customer interactions, service and did I mention the food!? Absolutely delicious food, hot and fast. A menu for everyone that's simple yet interesting. The cocktails are great, the names definitely get you interested in the flavors, and I love how they make their some of their own liquors, and different flavorings. I'd definitely recommend this establishment. Midtown Reno definitely has a hidden gem called Midtown Eats.

Not happy. Watched the manager scold a waitress. Waitress talked too softly. The worst biscuit and gravy EVER! Menu says 2 biscuits when in fact it is 1 small biscuit cut in half. There was nothing “gravy” about it... it was like milk poured over the sausage. No flavor in at all. Won’t go back ~

The food was awesome. Our server, Chelsea(?), was awesome. Unfortunately the kitchen seemed to be having hiccup after hiccup, but I think that's a product of short staffing. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy because it was SO GOOD.

Was interested in trying out this spot... not sure if that'll end up happening now due to uncertainty surrounding why it's closed. I am a bit confused. Note on the door said closed due to unpaid rent but their fb said a gas leak...

Used to dine here often when prior owners ran the restaurant. Heard some questionable things in the community surrounding new owners(lying to community members, not paying other local business past bills, worker mistreatment, etc,.) but decided to ignore the gossip. Came in about a month ago and was disappointed with overall service, menus weren't correct, service was slow, food was good but not good enough for the price or service. My partner wanted to try them again on Friday, to my dismay there was a note on the door that said business was closed due to not paying their rent. Went to their facebook for more info and they said they were closed for a gas leak. Guess some of the rumors were true. Reno is a small town and gossip spreads -- bummed it was true this time. Will not be returning unless under new ownership.

I have really mixed feelings about this restaurant. I want to support them and I want them to succeed, just like every local spot. However, the last two visits have really been sub par. We went yesterday for Mother's Day, and I totally understand it being busy...but the whole thing was weird. We got sat outside on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. They were kind and moved tables out for us, but accidentally gave us a broken chair. Not like it was kinda wobbly, if my mom sat down she may have hurt herself. We did get an apology and a new chair, so moving on... I think when you sit outside and you aren't visible you get forgotten. We got water and my moms coffee, never got our sodas until we asked for them again, twenty minutes later. Sodas come out, we order. 30 minutes goes by and half the food comes out. So two out of four have food. Waiter comes by, asks how we are doing and he is surprised that only half of us have food. He wasn't the one that brought the burgers. Now mind you at this point its been over an hour, my mom still hasn't gotten her food, and neither has my husband. My brother and I are trying to wait so we can all eat together, but at this point there has been such a lag that our food is going to get cold. So their food comes out about 25-30 minutes later, I kid you not. Because I think they forgot their orders. My mom ordered an egg in her breakfast bowl, no egg. She said it was pretty salty. The food was ok. My mom wanted to get dessert, so she asked the waiter if we should order it sooner rather than later because of the wait time. He got very snippy with my mom, which I didn't appreciate. The bread pudding was delicious. That's my bright moment in all of this. Our total time for a meal for four was 2 hours and 20 minutes. Service was not great, like I said, I understand being busy but this was not good. He acted like he didn't really want us there, obviously forgot about us because we were outside, it was a mess. My husband went to track him down for the bill, so we could pay. There was no offer of taking off a drink or something due to the time we waited... I'm not sure I'd go back again.

One of the best BBQ Bacon Cheeseburgers I have had in a very long time. On the outside, the restaurant is very unassuming, but I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. They have a cool design going on with an awesome chandelier in the middle and the classic bottle wall behind the bar. Excellent cocktail menu. Try the roasted cauliflower for an appetizer.
Great service. Bomb food. Avocado toast were amazing. Bartender was super nice. Will definitely visit again when back in town!!

We love a night at Midtown Eats. Amazing experience tonight as always! Great bartender and owner, super energetic and the atmosphere for a Saturday Night is great. Got a full course this evening (apps, entree salads and dessert) and loved every bite. Midtown Eats just does it right. Perfect spot for any occasion, never had a cocktail we didn't like. Would recommend the shoshito peppers and the carrot cake!

First time here. Wanted to try something new. Food wasn't too bad. With the prices, I expected it to be a lil better. I didn't really care for the alcoholic drinks, we had Long Islands. The service was great. Nice friendly staff. Clean bathrooms.

Great hamburger. The fresh made lemonade was also great. The carrot cake wasn't amazing but that's because I prefer lots of icing on mine. Definitely try it out!
