The store was clean and quiet. There was only one server and he was very busy. I had a turkey melt, and my husband had a patty melt. The food was good but a little pricey for what it was.

Went to Moxies for dinner and have been a customer for many years. The food and service are good. We have been through most of the menu many times. We suggest changing up or adding a few items. We would like a few more options.

What a great place!! My husband and I just moved into the neighborhood from Sparks. We were so busy unpacking, we ordered a pick up order from Moxies! I was kinda short with the girl that answered the phone, because I was so tired! She understood, and was so kind! On top of the wonderful service, when we got the food home! 9 out of 10! My husband and I can't wait to go in and experience the restaurant!!! Thank you Moxies for making are already stressful move alittle easier!!!

I've only just discovered Moxie's - after two years of living right by it. WOW! The food is great (they really have a wonderful chef), well everything I have tried. Tried the Prime Rib last night and it was perfect!!! Fair pricing as well. The service is GREAT especially if you go when Amy or Mandy are there! It's like a Cheers environment in our part of Reno! Ask to meet the 'Mayor of Moxie's' too LOL. It's just a great place to hang out, get good food affordably, watch a game or all of these together!

Moxie's is always a fun time! I especially love the Risotto Balls, they're crunchy, cheese filled bites of deliciousness. Mandy is so amazingly wonderful, definitely my favorite Reno bartender! She makes Moxie's an incredible spot to let loose and have a good time!

The place was empty but it was mid afternoon. The food was really good as was the service.
I ordered a prime rib dip with no cheese. It arrived with cheese and was barely lukewarm. The waitress took so long to come and check on our table that I had them cancel rather than remake my order. The prime rib was meh. My husband had the mac and cheese, tasty, but also lukewarm. We were served after tables that had orders taken after us. Don't know what that was about. It was our first visit to Moxie's but we won't be going back.

Such a local gem offering comfort food and the nicest servers anywhere. The menu has lots of great options and there is always a daily special. Big portions, great food. I especially like their fried shrimp, stroganoff, salmon tacos, fish & chips and patty melts. If you are lucky, you will get Amy as your server - she is wonderful.

Love Moxies steak skewers with fresh veggies and rice pilaf. If you go on Friday you can also get a delicious clam chowder. Only complaint I have is the cigarette smoke in the bar area. Wish they had a better ventilation system but this place is still fun with good food! L
