The restaurant is very open and the staff is welcoming. The tables are covered with paper as the meals are messy. The temperature was a bit on the chilly side which takes a good bit of chill for me to notice as I am very warmblooded and run pretty warm. To drink, we had the strawberry house margarita (no sugar/no salt) and the jalapeño margarita. Both drinks were well balanced and had a great flavor profile. As an appetizer we had the fried seafood platter. This came with fried fish, fried oysters, fried shrimp, fried scallops, and fries. It also had 3 different dipping sauces. All of the seafood was well-seasoned, lightly breaded, and perfectly cooked. My negative is the timing of the appetizer. We ordered it with our drinks and a good bit before we ordered our meals but it came out directly in front of our meals. We didn't even get to finish chewing our 1st bite of the appetizer (and the waitress that brought it out hadn't even left our table's immediate area) before our waitress was putting the main courses down on our table. For the main meals, there was 1.5 pounds of crawfish and 1 pound of shrimp which had potatoes and sausage. The crawfish and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. The sauce that was in the bags was perfection today! I can't wait for my next visit: and this time I will be trying the new all you can eat menu!

A little overpriced but it's Reno, not a waterfront city, so it kind of makes sense. It was definitely fun, not sushi or red lobster. For reno, I think it's a good, different kind of seafood restaurant.

I wouldn't recommend this place, Way over price, we ordered shrimp cajun and cilantro lime and had no flavor

It was fair. All I wanted was big shrimp- deep fried. I did not care for the type of batter ... when I see thick batter on fish, shrimp, oysters .... It's a big turn off. Thick heavy batter soaks up all the grease .. after a few bites you feel nauseous from eating all the grease Mr Crab, go to the Atlantis Sky Terrace and have some of their deep fried jumbo shrimp .. copy those and I'll be a customer of yours forever!!

Service was good decor was absent, felt food lacked natural flavors, probably cheaper product. Everyone in the party of 4 had uneasy stomachs afterwards. Concept is good but execution is lacking in food and ambiance. Miss matched cheap silverware and metal tray dishes felt like I was served prison food

Mr. Crab Seafood Boil is a gem that's worth every splurge, and let me tell you why. From the moment you step in, prepare yourself for a bustling atmosphere that somehow manages to feel cozy and inviting. It's the kind of place where you can feel the excitement in the air, as fellow diners eagerly anticipate their seafood feasts. Now, let's talk about the prices. Yes, you might have to dig a little deeper into your pockets for this experience, but trust me, every dollar is justified. The quality and quantity of seafood you get here are unparalleled. Whether you're a seafood aficionado or a newcomer to the delights of the ocean, Mr. Crab Seafood Boil offers an unforgettable dining experience. One of the highlights of our visit was the impeccable service. The staff were not only friendly but incredibly knowledgeable. Their recommendations were spot-on, ensuring that we enjoyed every bite of our meal. In conclusion, if you're ready to indulge in a seafood extravaganza and don't mind paying a bit more for quality, Mr. Crab Seafood Boil is the place to be. From the vibrant atmosphere to the delectable dishes and top-notch service, it's an experience you won't soon forget. Trust me, it's worth every penny.

We were really lucky and caught it when it was quiet. The only downside of the quiet is that we had to wait a while before anyone realized we were there. The food was delicious and messy in all the best ways. The service was wonderful. There was a small town feel with a seafood twist. We will definitely be back.

The menu is hard to understand, the food terrible and we left hungry after. To top it off both me and my girl got food poisoning from this place and have been sick for 2 days.

Incredible meal. Right on the money with flavor and portion we thought we were in New Orleans having a boil. Support the folks well worth the trip and money.

I wouldn't recommend going to this place, it's over priced. I went to this place last Saturday and I ordered a boil bag with a pound of snow crab and a half pound of shrimp, corn, and some potato's. I was so tired, I didn't even check my bag and I live about 20 minutes away. When I got home I couldn't believe my eyes, I immediately called them and the owner Oscar told me that I would be reimbursed. I was like cool, under the impression that due to my commute home due to the mess up on my order and then taking that into consideration that I would get a full refund. I only got my corn, shrimp and potato's and 4 scraps of crab legs in the bag. This was pathetic and I was highly disappointed, for the amount of money I spent on this bag over 60 dollars and lack of consideration. When I checked my bank account I only got refunded half my money and I was confused because that was not what was communicated to me on the phone. So I called him back and said if I would have known that I would have went down there to get my correct order, not for you to give me my money for the missing crab legs which was 34 dollars. That was never mentioned. I told the owner the communication was a miss and that I will no longer spend my money there and that was that and he still was consistent on not giving me the remaining of my money and I was like your customer service sucks. The picture explains it all, just buy your own and make your own sauce it's much cheaper.

Stopped in for a lunch on my Birthday. Wasn't sure at first, but really wanted a unique experience. My server Gabi was very kind and helpful. Enjoyed the Valentines special of Crabs, Shrimp and Mussels in the Jalapeño Cajun sauce. Great meal and fun eating experience. Would make for an interesting first date. Definitely recommend for something delicious and different.
