Stumbled upon this winery while on a brewery tour and had the pleasure of meeting and being served by one of the owners (Alynn). My companions and I opted to do a flight of both red and white and my absolute favorites were Grenache White and their Pinot Noir. Alynn was great in explaining the history of the winey, as well as where the grapes come from (predominately Lodi) and how the wine is made locally! Stopped In Saturday for a wine tasting while visiting Reno! So glad I did. The two Owners Alynn and Mike were so nice and friendly. Alynn was our server she was super sweet and so informative about the wines they carry. They serve wines for two different wineries. Nevada Sunset and Great Basin. The Great Basin menu didn't offer a wine tasting, but you can purchase the bottles of wine there. We attended a 50th birthday celebration here for a friend and the place was AMAZING! The wine is great and the space is very inviting. Kate and Craig are very hospitable and are doing a wonderful job! Come check out this growing area. We highly recommend them!
