Finding Panaderia Guatemala was a pleasant surprise! I loved their Guatemalan tamales, and their Pan dulce, champurradas were just as good as back in Guate. The owner Fausto is a great guy and he did a great job to provide good service and quality baked goods for a good while. **Edited my comment. Sadly this establishment is not a Guatemalan Bakery anymore. Looks like the new owners aren't' even Guatemalan. Their Pan Dulce options are mostly Mexican now - No judgement, it is their right, I just wouldn't call what they sell Guatemalan pan dulce. Enjoy retirement don Fausto!!

We learned about this bakery while having ice cream at Black Rock Desserts in Midtown. We walked in, and the owner, Linda, helped us pick out some breads as we didn't know what to order. As it was later in the afternoon, a lot of the baked goods had been purchased, but we got a good mix of different items. When we go back, we might need some help again, but I am determined to learn more about Guatemalan baked goods, so I'll know what to order again.

Extremely friendly environment and the quality of the baked goods is extraordinary. They also sell tamales on certain days, but the tamales are extremely addictive and would likely cause a fight at any family gathering.

I had a great time here while waiting for my flight. They have really good bread that is really afgordable, coffee and other traditional Guatemalan foods. A nice family ran shop to grab some baked goods and more.

My wife and I went for breakfast. The lady did not tell us that they don't have a menu. She just started preparing the food. The coffee she gave us it already had creamer. She didn't even ask us if we wanted creamer. The coffee tasted like watered-down coffee. She didn't ask us how we wanted the eggs and already had ordered them with vegetables. Overall, it was not a good experience. No more eating there. They have sweet bread, though; we'll go back for the sweet bread

Came here for a quick bite between basketball games. My 11 year old son picked the restaurant. He said this was one of the best meals in his entire life! He is a burrito connoisseur, and this burrito was top notch!
