Horrible service.Waiting to be served, no acknowledgement that I was there, it was not busy, girls trying to figure out their tills as they shift change. But left me waiting a good 5 minutes. Then I ask for large black tea with 2 cream. Girl gives me a ice tea. I told her i asked for hot tea. And she said oh well.... and then looked at me lime she didn't know what to do.I walked away before I started to express my annoyance.Add in i paid $5 for watered down ice tea..place is overpriced and poor service. Last time i was in RNO and ordered from this establishment, it wasnt much better.

The girl at the counter with the long dark brown hair was extremely unwelcoming and unfriendly. The first interaction was not met with a smile or hello. I asked her to rinse out my cup and she snapped we don’t do that. I asked for a bagel and cream cheese and she snapped again you can only have what you see displayed. I then asked for a large decalf latte and she charged me for a medium and I had to order a second one and had to pay again for a large. At that point she informed me there was only 2 sizes. The first one only filled my cup half way. When I informed her I could see why she had no tips in her jar and let her know I did not appreciate her service she told me she was reacting to me. I am a regular Peet’s customer and I must say this is the first time ever I have received such poor service and with attitude. I became angry at how she was treating me as I was needing to get to the gate asap as my plane was about to board. I told her I was going to inform Peet’s of my experience and she snapped back “that’s fine”, The next time I’m in Reno Airport I’ll buy coffee and food elsewhere.

I asked for a regular small coffee. The price list said $3.80. She charged me for the large for $4.10. When I pointed it out the lady was quite rude and said the price list was wrong, well that’s illegal. She said THEY need to fix it.I know she charged me for the large in error and it’s not about the few cents but the attitude

Worst Pete’s/ coffee place I’ve ever been to. I order iced matchas all the time, and theirs is by far the worst. They handed me a drink that was 95% milk, to the point that I couldn’t even taste the matcha. When I asked them for extra matcha powder, they charged me an extra buck, only for it to taste just as watered down as the original drink. Don’t bother coming here— lousy service and drinks

The young lady that was there on Friday very polite courteous. As far as the menu at Pete's in the airport there is no breakfast or lunch. They do not have a grill or any cooking the ladies so the menu need you to be removed.

Petra was so incredibly rude and incompetent. She acted completely inconvenienced by the fact we were there ordering two drinks. She questioned my order, as if I didn’t know what I wanted. I had to explain myself for her to accept my request. I ordered a triple espresso over ice. The menu is labeled “S, M, L single, double, triple). For one latte and the espresso I was charged $18. I questioned how much she charged for the espresso, she states $3 for a single, and $4 for a double. I pointed out what the menu said and questioned why I wasn’t charged for a triple. She wouldn’t listen to what I was saying, so I gave in. Never in my life have I had such a negative experience ordering coffee. To top it off I had to ask for a straw and lid for my $8 espresso. The other gal working was very efficient and friendly, seemed like she was trying to compensate for her coworker.

Yesterday, while flying home from my birthday trip, I stopped by and ordered coffee at the Peet's at the Reno airport. More specifically, the downstairs location near the ticketing counters. While waiting, I noticed that the barista was moving in a very meticulous and intentional way while preparing the drinks. Not slow just intentional. I thought it was pretty cool, and proceeded to wait in line to order my drinks. I ordered a hot chocolate for my husband and I got a white chocolate mocha, iced with oat milk. This is where Petra comes in. She is an absolute joy! She made the best mocha I have ever had. I am from the Bay Area and since I was a child, I have grown up around Peet's coffee and I now drink it several times a week. This was hands down THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD!!! Not only does she make excellent drinks, she has such a beautiful, personality and demeanor. We spoke briefly about her prior experience and training, and it was honestly such a pleasant encounter. She also has really cool and unique jewelry! Peet's Coffee, you should know that Petra is a gem!!!! If you're flying through Reno airport, definitely stop by!
