Don't be d*** and waste your time & money elsewhere! Cony is truly amazing and made me feel as if she was my Tía. Pesole was absolutely amazing. Margaritas were BangLegit. She made ponche and shares some with us and that was an absolute hit! Best Mexican food I have experienced in Reno. Thank you so much and can't wait to come back again.

Stopped in a Friday lunch date. Located on the east side of the Wells roundabout. You'll have to park on the next side street. It's a short walk. Then through the large patio area to the front door. It was a gorgeous day so we patio dined. The inside seating is plenty spacious too. Not your usual Mexican restaurant menu, nice. A limited menu, serving breakfast at 10 am, lunch and dinner until 9 pm. Sundays until 5pm. Several seafood items, pork chops, and soups. They keep an updated menu online, check it out. We went with a platter of 6 mixed street tacos. There was so much delicious, well seasoned meat on all of them. And very filling. The chips and salsa here are not complimentary. But we'll worth the $8. Fresh house made chips that weren't greasy and had plenty of crunch and flavor. The red and green sauces equally flavorful. Service was fantastic. Try this quiet beautiful spot on Wells. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Perfect for a date night or night out with friends.

Everything we had was delicious. We moved here two years ago from New Mexico and it’s by far the best Mexican food we’ve had in Reno so far. Great patio for outdoor seating!

Food was excellent. Tequila Sunrises were quite tasty. Management was very friendly. Great place for brunch. Both of us had the Pepe. This was truly a showcase of range of Mexican food offered. Skirt steak, chilaquiles, 2 eggs and chorizo refried beans. Outdoor seating is great. We will definitely be back! They also have live music on Friday nights in the plaza. We'll try this next! Seems like a great place for happy hour and live music.

Omg we went for a birthday dinner for my boss on Saturday n this place has a beautiful atmosphere! They had a live band and have a garage that they opened the doors towards patio area , we had so much fun however they do need more staff. Miguel our server was awesome and his attitude made up for the slow service great spot to have food and drinks and dance!

Great food! Reminds me of restaurants I visited in parts of Mexico. Loved the pozole. Outdoor patio is big and has nice murals and a fountain.

We came because I was craving a good michelada and was surprised by the gormet food, all the way down to the chips and salsa. Everyone was really nice and the owner was there and seemed super cool. Definitely a must go spot and we will definitely be back.

If you are looking for a place with delicious authentic Mexican food and the atmosphere to match, look no further. You will love Plaza Maya. First, start off with one of their refreshing margaritas. Then be sure to order the guacamole and chips. It is the best I have ever had. Finally, I recommend the Baja Shrimp or Fish Tacos. Add a side of black beans and rice and you will be thoroughly happy. I have been many times and the quality is always consistently good. Enjoy!

This place is great , I got the Mojarra which is a fried fish and it was so good. Got the house margarita with it and that was good as well. Rice was great everything was great. The place is decorated just like hometown Mexico and the outdoor seating and fountain is nice too. Probably going to come again before I leave reno. The waiter was super nice as well ?
