I don’t know if I will be back here. The lady making our sandwich had nothing but attitude. We ordered a mac salad and chips and as you can see in the picture, the chips are almost a month expired. Why don’t they clear out expired chips here? Mac Salad was expired and when asking for olives, the lady was upset and put 5 olives. There is spilled soda on the floor and they refused to clean it up. Handed us napkins to clean it up ourselves!

This place frustrates me. On occasion I've had pretty decent sandos. Other times (like today) it's really disappointing, and because I clicked the "no receipt" button on the kiosk, I can't even take it back. $13 bucks wasted. I bought a #9 for my wife. Pastrami and cheese. I drive it to her, and it was maybe fifteen minutes after it was made. She calls me almost immediately after I leave and says "I can't eat this. The pastrami is cold in parts, cooked in parts, and wet. The bread is mushy and falling apart. I can't even pick it up. It's grossing me out, I can't eat it." I asked her for pictures which I posted here. Clearly, wet mushy bread, and pastrami thats kinda cooked, kinda not. For a texture person like my wife, I completely understand how this would be completely unacceptable. Heck, I'm not a texture person but I don't like wet soggy bread. This lack in quality and consistency unfortunately fits the last sandos I got from here as well, their thanksgiving sandwich ( I can't remember the name) which tasted old, as if the stuffing box had been sitting for a long time (Dusty tasting?) and there was barely any cranberry on it. Oh, and it was $17 for a large, several dollars more than what was advertised on the window outside the shop. And now today, my wife's sandwich, her only item for lunch, ruined by lack of quality and consistency. In this day and age, wasting money makes things more painful. And today , unfortunately, was a wasted trip to this location. 2 out of 5.

Just some training tips regarding sanitation. I asked the gentleman to change his gloves after he went from making sandwiches to handling the register, then back to preparing to make my sandwich. After the lady finished handling money at the register, she grabbed a fresh pair of gloves to make sandwiches instead of washing her hands first and then grabbing gloves. Roxanna did okay with stacking the sandwich, but it was apparent it wasn't something she felt confident with as far as meat/cheese placements and extras. Additionally, folding the sandwich with 2 wrappers versus one so the juices don't bleed through the paper once wrapped. Sandwich is all over the place, but it will do!

I should have realized when I walked into a completely empty sub shop lunchtime on a Friday that there was something wrong.I got a grand total of 4 slices of meat and they were so thin you could read a book through them.Save your money and go somewhere else

Last week, I ordered from this Port of Subs for a catering order for 100 people. I was so pleased with the freshness of the food, the timeliness of the order and the overall professionalism I received.For a previous event, we ordered from a different Port of Subs but I wanted to try a different store since the last did not have the order ready at pick up time. It's challenging to provide food for 100 people and I depend greatly on the caterer.I found the new female owner to be kind, courteous and professional. She was knowledgable and patient when answering my catering questions. I planned to call the day before pickup to touch base, but she beat me to it! She had a few additional questions about my order and called me to confirm. Everything was freshly made and ready to load when I arrived at 9am.Thank you Port of Subs #261 for a wonderful experience.
