Romanza has the best food out of all of the restaurants in the Peppermill. The service was very attentive and they had good recommendations for wine and food. The interior decor is a so kitschy that it actually works.

We ended up coming here for dinner last night after finding out it would be close to a 2 hour wait at Oceana. We love Italian food so it wasn't hard to adjust on what we wanted for dinner. We came up and the hostess did inform us they were booked, however, the bar seating was open. We gladly accepted bar seating.Our servers/bartenders (So sorry we forgot your names! One is a trainee though) were so welcoming and friendly! They provided good recommendations on drinks and food. It been a while since we came across such outstanding service! Honestly the best service we received from our trip to Reno this weekend.Now about the food: they are generous with their portions! My other half ordered the trio (not pictured) and I ordered the Bolognese. We did an order of the salad to share. We barely made a dent in our food before waving the white flag. Both dinners were packed up to go and currently waiting for us to devour for dinner.I highly recommend everyone to try this place out at least once - whether it's for a date night or to grab a bite to eat. The staff alone makes it worthwhile.

Such an amazing evening! I guess it was slow due to the Super Bowl which made things perfect. Inside is like an Italian garden with a statue in the center surrounded by torches than go on and off . Beautiful ceiling that changes colors as the evening progresses. The wait staff were phenomenal. Very attentive and polite. This was the best restaurant that I have been to so far in Reno and my husband agrees as we went for his birthday and he was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and service we received.My husband had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and neither of us have ever had Alfredo so creamy and delicate. I ordered the langoustine & prawn pasta .. the softest langoustine I've ever had, the creamy tomato sauce was perfect and the lemon slices complimented everything . Highly recommend for anniversarys , small birthday and a romantic evening in general.

A wonderful night at the Romanza! The food was amazing, the cocktails (I had the lemoncello tini) were delicious and Rocky was a fabulous waiter! Our first time at the Peppermill and Rocky even told us we get a local 20% discount with a club card! We will definitely be back! My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and it was just perfect! The ambiance was romantic and intimate, the service was top notch (we actually had 2 servers helping at the same time-which was great) and the food, oh my goodness it was delicious! Probably the best food I've had in a long time. We also got a free desert since it was our anniversary. I would definitely recommend this place for a date night or for celebrating something special. I'll definitely be back!

Carpaccio was very salty and quite acidic with tiny amounts of meat. Cured pork cheek was very chewy. Other foods were good 4/5. Small portions, high cost. Great service and atmosphere.
We opted to sit at their cozy bar (seating for 5). Comfortable bar stools with backs that swivel. Husband finished the Blantons bottle and was reqarded with the horse topper. Greygoose Martini for me. Appetizer was Kobe beef carpaccio - very large serving, nice and balanced flavor. We shared the carbonara - it was OK. Thr Bartender was helpful in recommending a couple of red wines. It was a very pleasant dinner out.

This is a Real Italian Restaurant.First class service and entrees.This is a not a Olive Garden class or neighborhood spaghetti house.Truffles and warm hand towels served at end your dinner.Reservation recommended especially on weekends.Try it and you will be back for 99% of diners.Romanza is my new favorite italian restaurant
