The curry chicken is out of this world. The filet was cooked perfectly and the scallops are really good too. Never had a bad meal here, only thing that was just alright was the shoe string fries. The hostess is awesome and friendly.

We've had several great dinners at Roxy's, but last night was the best! Our server, Micah was spot on. He was the perfect server. Friendly and attentive with good suggestions. The food was perfect. The oyster rockfellers were the best we've ever had- and we went to the restaurant in NOLA where they were invented! The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides; mashed potato and creamed spinach were delicious. Oh I almost forgot the wine which was well priced and a perfect pairing. Roxy's is not cheap, but worth every penny

Having only been to Roxy's for martinis, I was looking forward to trying a very good steakhouse on par with Western Village or the now-defunct Harrah's steakhouse, and I was not disappointed. Roxy's offered unobtrusive yet friendly and helpful service, and the wine selections were expansive but not overwhelming. As has been said by other reviewers, the bacon bread is--I mean, come on, how could it not be?--really tasty, since it isn't oversalted or relying only on the bacon to trick your tastebuds into thinking it's a good piece of bread. The French bread that comes with it is also a quality bread, and big points here for softened, not melted and not frozen, butter. I had the filet mignon with asparagus on the side, and my steak was cooked perfectly, medium rare, and the cut of meat is quality, making it clear that someone is vetting those cuts back in the kitchen. For dessert, I had sorbet, which is something I rarely like, but the frozen treat industry and its creators got the hint that many of us hated sorbet back in the early aughts, when it was all high sugar and syrupy and made you sad for your lactose-intolerant self when you had to eat it alongside your friends downing ice cream. I don't know who made the banana one I had, but it had a creamy mouthfeel that didn't make me want to cry and look longingly at the creme brulee next to me. The service continued to be wonderful throughout, with warm cloths and no one giving us the stink eye when it was obvious the staff was wrapping up for the night. Instead, they let us know in subtle ways, which sums up my entire experience at Roxy: it's all these little things that added up to a very nice night.

Jonny was our waiter and was exceptional in every possible way. I’ve eaten at the best restaurants in America over the years for business. Jonny’s service was as great as any I’ve ever had in NYC, LA or Chicago. What makes Jonny stand out are his sincerity and caring attitude. We felt special and appreciated. The food was outstanding. And Esteban was terrific, too. He helped Jonny. If you eat at Roxy’s, ask for Jonny. It’ll be a truly great experience.

Reno has become our go-to spot for its unbeatable video poker paytables and, of course, the fantastic dining options. Among them, Roxy stands out as the ultimate steakhouse at the Row. From the moment you step in, the service is nothing short of impeccable, making you feel truly valued. We did encounter a minor hiccup once when our steak arrived slightly more well-done than we had ordered. But as soon as we mentioned it to the manager, they swiftly whisked the plate away and returned with a perfectly cooked steak. And to our surprise, they even comped our meal! That's what I call going above and beyond. No matter where you're seated, there's always someone readily available to assist you. The ambiance exudes a classy, intimate vibe, almost transporting you to a different world away from the hustle and bustle of the casino floor. Now, let's talk about the food. The Rib Eye special, potato puree, Creme Brulee, and let's not forget the bread--oh, that bread! It's so delicious that on one occasion, we skipped appetizers altogether and just asked for extra bread. Needless to say, Roxy has become a staple for us whenever we're in Reno. And the cherry on top? We often get our meals comped, adding an extra layer of delight to the experience. Trust me, you'll want to keep coming back here again and again.
