Closed!! Really looking for a good gyro, with spicy sauce, in Reno. To date no luck. Hopefully they can figure it out and te-open!

Starting this out by noting that I used to LOVE this place. Came as much as possible and was never disappointed, recommended it to everyone. That being said, recently it had been hard to catch this place when it was open (despite going when the hours said it was supposed to be open). Would always get excited about eating it, finally get there and then BAM - closed sign on the door. This happened numerous times, but I kept trying. FINALLY one day I went and they were open! There were 2 other couples waiting for their food when I got there. I ordered my usual then waited - 30 mins later (felt like eternity since I was so hungry) got my food. I was SO EXCITED. Was kind of thrown off cause the wrap seemed pretty cold. Took my first bite and it was COLD. The bread, the meat, every part of it. Decided to just take it home and heat it up. When I got home I opened the wrap up to separate/heat it up and THERE WAS THE LONGEST HAIR INTERTWINED IN ALL THE INGREDIENTS. My boyfriend's wrap didn't have the hair, but was also ice cold and did not taste good at all. This place is no longer what is used to be.

They're going out of business for a reason. Not only is it the food overprice it's simply not good. They forgot to add hummus on both are wraps and we didn't notice until we got home. I called to see if we can get refunded or they can make accommodations they gave me attitude and refuse so then they proceeded to tell me that they were closing for good next week. Well that makes sense. Horrible food the furthest thing from a Shawarma!!!!! Go to Aladdin's or wrap it up if you want a decent Shawarma.

Simple, straightforward, and spicy. Shawarma done right. This is what the Avengers WISHED for at the end of the movie.

A long long time ago... I Came to Shawarmageddon when they first opened. This was long before my days loving local businesses on Yelp, so I didn't share here, but I finally found my way back and I see why this is quietly one of our community's favorite spots of all time. First off, the location is just plain cool. It's off a side street, inside an office or apartment building (not sure!) and built in under a stairwell that's painted all black. You order through a small window cut into a black wall, and the experience just hits different. The menu is tiny but mighty. I ordered the falafel, which comes with a housemade sauce of your choice, a scoop of the housemade hummus and a selection of delicious pickles (Watch out for the cukes. They spicy!). The falafel are sizeable, fried super crispy, but a bit more dense than those I've had before. These are substantial and a beefy meal, or ample shareable for a few. They're also a super value at $8. I also had the Crimson tea. The Sichuan peppercorn and sweetness were a great surprise. I'm def coming back soon.

I have been driving past this place for years, always wanting to stop but never having the chance. Finally got to stop and it was delicious! Quick service, helpful employees and good food. We had A kids lamb wrap, falafel wrap and chicken Schwarma. Everything was very good and we look forward to coming back! One note is that the toum is very strong and can be hot so if that's not your thing just be careful. We did enjoy it very much though!

Was just ok for us. Stopped by to pick up some food to enjoy in our hotel room. Was really excited from all the good reviews but we've had much better several other places. Cool little hole in the wall- maybe if we had ordered something else....

I was looking for a gyro, they offered me a lamb wrap. I’ve never had shredded lamb with 3 times the amount of cabbage mixed in a 12 inch cold wrap. And kind of way over priced.

I got the lamb wrap, partner got the chicken wrap. Also got a side of fries. Fries were bomb! Wraps were terrible. Inedibly spicy, no hummus even though we asked for it, lamb was flavorless, chicken was flavorless and dry. Neither of us even finished the wraps. Dude at the counter was a nice guy though.

Worst middle eastern food I've ever had. Way too much pickled stuff. Flavor tasted off. Not the restaurants fault but by the time the driver delivered our food our wraps were soggy. Sadly, we ended up throwing the food away and getting food from somewhere else.

Ho Lee Fuk Dichotomy aside! The Greatest! But possibly the worst shawarma I have ever had. Pro tip of the day: go easy on the add on smears and sauces. I cant identify the one off flavor, something was working against the overall flavor. Was not too happy to see the chicken shredded, almost pulverized! I think this place has major possibilities! Just be careful how you order. I Love the concept bigly

Never had this much fun getting a schwarma in my whole f****** life. Had the lamb wrap and chick peas. Best schwarna. Keep it up with that spicy metal music. Hail Satan

So the one and only guy there was very friendly. The food was not for me. The first few bites I thought, not bad. Then the more I ate it, the more I thought it's kinda gross. It's not bad, it's just not for me. The wrapper was pretty much disintegrated before I got halfway on the wrap. I don't think it helped that we ate there. The place had an odor that I don't like in there. The floor was incredibly sticky. My running shoes were sticking and making noises each step I made. You can see lots of shoe marks on it too. Tried this place because it has been on my bookmark for awhile and the reviews are great.... Usually Yelp reviews help me but not this time.

this place rocks... so much so that I stopped what I was actually doing on yelp to write a review. the biggest problem with this place is remembering to come back because they're so far off the beaten path that it takes a second to remember them

The good thing -they prepare it fast and it was pretty bigThe bad-the taste is just average, got lamb but there wasn’t that much meat and it was kind of tasteless but a lot of veggies and spicy
