Some of the worst food I have had in Reno. 10 people $400 for crappy bar food! Also only 3 of 10 drank alcohol, so no reason for it to be this price. Yes, I am aware of inflation, but this was overpriced and just plain gross! Super disappointed
One word...MEDIOCRE. Let me start with the first thing that is wrong with every restaurant in the area: the food has no flavor. Are people in Nevada allergic to salt?Don't offer bison meat if you don't know how to cook it. My bison burger took too long to come to the table. I asked for medium and it came out rare. So I had to wait gor my burger while the rest of my party finished their food. By then, I had lost my appetite. I figured I could take it home and have it later, but it wasn't good.The worst part about the service being slow and sloppy is that the workers there are very nice.

South 40 was a cool spot. We mainly just ate in the restaurant area, but there is a whole play area for adults and kids. Bar games and recreation have to play. I didn't explore the whole area but it seemed like a cool place to hang.

South 40 is our default place. Whether a casual dinner, or a girl's night out, this place is spot on. Affordable cocktails and excellent food. plenty of space so never a wait. 5 stars.

I've had less institutional food in a school cafeteria. Everything we had was straight off the back of a truck and pulled from the freezer. I got fish and chips--it was literally three perfect rectangles about the size and consistency of a McDonalds hash brown. Kids got some fries with canned queso and bac-o-bits on top. Nothing made in-house.Came because I heard they had a game area--thinking it might be pool, foosball, maybe some fun video games or pinball for the kids. It was EXACTLY like Chuck-E-Cheese. Spent 20 bucks on a play card for my kids to play ripoff games for 5 minutes. What a joke. I've heard they have cornhole in the summertime on a back patio; I don't suppose I'll ever return to confirm that rumor.Wait staff was friendly; no complaints on service.Edit--I have read other reviews that mention another game area. Guess I missed it, but it doesn't really change how I fee about the garbage Chuck-E-Cheese ripoff.
