dinned here with my friend last week. We went during dinner time. We sat at the bar and were greeted by two chefs . I had high expectations since It used to be my favorite when it was hiroba . The remodeled location is nice however the rolls are full of rice and the crystal shrimp is so compressed that it's not even crunchy. The yakiton was good. This place is so pretty and has so much potential. But the rice to fish ratio is awful and feels like a rip off for the price i'm paying since is more expensive than other sushi's . If your gunna price it 33.95 at least let me eat a roll that is not completely made of rice . So many other sushi spots do it better . Save your money

Last visit the nigiri seemed a little less on point compared to visits last year. There are better AYCE sushi in Reno. However the service here is consistently friendly and attentive.

Fav sushi place! The servers get to you so fast, and are always friendly. Open space inside there's also outside seating.

Great as always. Service is still less than perfect but on par with every other AYCE sushi in town. The servers are friendly and helpful, everything just takes a while so it's probably a staffing issue. One thing stood out to me this visit: I have been patroning Sushimi's for as long as I can remember, since they were called Hiroba's in the shop next door. What I realized is that the music is something of a time capsule, but not the neat nostalgia inducing kind, more like the disappointing, "why did they bother" kind. If somebody could let the person in charge of the music know that Shawn Mendez, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons, etc. are seriously not cool anymore I think you would be surprised at the difference in atmosphere. A more modern and sophisticated playlist could make a real difference! Just my 2 cents. In any case, keep doing what you're doing in the food department, this order of calamari was probably the best calamari I've ever had in my life. Thank you to the cook on Tuesday night that left my calamari in the fry for a few extra seconds, that was awesome. The tempura batter they use at Sushimi's is reason enough alone to forget about all the other sushi spots in town that can't seem to figure it out. The sake nigiri I ordered wasn't that great, a little fishy, but not enough to dampen my visit. Overall, 4.8 stars I think.

We went here and got the AYCE which was $34 per person. This is pretty standard in the area. Our favorite go to right now is the Mickey Mouse. Salmon with avocado and crab on top. It was really good here! They have multiple spicy long roll options which is what we usually pick. I wouldn't say the service is the best. We had a few people who delivered the rolls who didn't tell us what they were- some of them did tell us. We saw our server maybe once. I had to ask one of the people who deliver the rolls for our check which wasn't a huge deal. If they were busier, this may have been kind of an issue. It used to be an Italian restaurant and they remodeled it somewhat and now the inside is beautiful- it's a great place for a sushi spot. They have a bar you can wait at while you wait to be seated which was nice. We would definitely go back. I'm a big fan of a sushi place that has reasonably sized rolls! Worth a try for sure.

Sushi deserves 5 stars! Always fresh and a good selection with big menu. Rolls are filling and big, well made with enough of everything in them. We also appreciate the a la carte menu as a few of our group members have a shellfish allergy so it's great for them to have options as well. Drinks are also AMAZING! The gummy bear vodka and the raspberry bramble are TO DIE FOR with a beautiful bar to sit at and amazing views of the skyline. Food and ambience are 5 stars The service is a different story as we've been here 3 times and have gotten the same waitress every time. Not sure if there's favoritism over regular customers or what's going on there but we receive very dry service from the shorter petite olive skinned waitress with short black hair every time. I was looking forward to another sushi lunch with our regular group this afternoon however all of our group members wanted to avoid the bad service despite the amazing food. It's a shame when the service outweighs the ambience, cocktails and wonderful sushi

This place is so delicious! My husband and I took our 10 yr old for sushi foe his strait a's on his report card! We loved it! Our favorite roll is the paradise roll! We ate unlimited appetizers. The mussels are so yummy, yakiton was delicious, and the fried calamari was perfect it wasn't undercooked or overcooked, and they were Jumbo! I wish I had taken a picture! The staff was super busy, so it took a bit for our food to come out! We sat right by the window and omg it is beautiful at night! You can see the whole city! They have a patio section which is closed right now, but in the summer, it is going to be beautiful. I can't wait to come back and eat on the patio!I definitely recommend this place! It is a must try for sushi lovers!Parking: There is plenty of parking!Kid-friendliness: They were very friendly to my son, and they gave him nice plastic cheaters that you can keep and reuse over and over again! The pricing for kids is also amazing!

Great view if the city. It can get busy and there is limited parking. Not bad pricing for ayce sushi. My last experience was weird though. I ordered some nigiri. First round was great. 2nd round the salmon was cut thicker and it tasted warm. I had a hard time finishing my food and at 1 point had to force myself to swallow because something didn't taste right about the second round of nigiri. Overall, good experience. Wait staff were remarkable.

This is now called Skyline Cafe and it is excellent. Great breakfast with a Spanish twist on some of the dishes. Authentic home cooking for all of their entrees. The interior is simple and warm. Service is good and friendly. Have been here 3 times already and definitely will return.

Always love going to all you can eat here. Some different rolls from other places. The nigri always seems so fresh with great flavor. Perfect balance between fish and rice.

133 bucks for 3 mediocre rolls, 6 small pieces of Nigiri, and edemame. Plastic forks, plastic cups, and bad service. The server forgot an order and never refilled any drinks. I won't be back. I'm spending my money at oceano.
