One of my favorite spots in Reno. Very intimate and casual. Love the fact that they have a live pianist there. It makes it feel very special. The food is always great. I crave the smoked salmon carpaccio on a regular basis! Love this place!

Intimate and delicious. First to words that come to mind. I believe it's ran by a brother and sister duo the reason I know my husband who grew up between Reno and WA state since he was two knows them. Been here several times and the nice part the first time we didn't have reservations and could easily have dinner in the bar. That was our first time there I'd seen it for years and it was worth going in. The food we split a pork chop it was immense. The almond rice(husband is a fan not me) wasn't bad. The soup and blue cheese garlic bread were filling and memorable. The final desert which I usually don't do, I am glad we did. Home made almond roca Ice Cream it was impressive. The atmosphere was extremely inviting and intimate. It reminds of the old Chophouse which was on the edge of midtown Reno. It's casual to nice dress and I believe some played the piano that night. It reminded me much of the Gold Hill Hotel just outside of Virginia City, NV and the only other place I'd heard dueling pianos during dinner that was a great birthday dinner. Along with the old Liberty Bell miss that place too. This one is in my top ten and greatest part it's near my house.

Gigantic hand cut, in house trimmed pork chop. Just look at those grill marks. I understand that the owner/ Chief bribes the loin and preps these babies specially each day. They cook in an oven as hot as high end steakhouses use to keep them moist and juicy. Cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were an amazing compliment and the home made chutney was the finishing touch of perfection. I've come here for years and this place never disappoints. When in Reno this place is an absolute must. Trust me folks, you've never had a pork chop like this.

We love this place, we discovered it July 2019 when we came and had drinks with a seafood salad and appetizer. We knew we had to come back for dinner to try the pork chop we spied on others tables. Fast forward November 2019 we had an excellent group dinner with the family. The pork chops are amazing, order quickly as they take 30 minutes to prepare. My husband and I came in February and hung out in the bar and split some salmon and the pork chop. We were not disappointed this time either!

I ordered the special of the night which was the avocado chicken. The chicken was cooked well, had lots of flavor and was tender. The avocado sauce was delicious! The flavors of the sauce complemented the chicken nicely. The slices of avocado were a nice add on. Overall, this dish was excellent and the flavors of the avocado were not overpowering just the perfect amount!

Great happy hour. The Salmon Carpaccio is amazing! Definitely save room for dessert too. The homemade ice cream is to die for.

One of the best meals I've had in Reno in a while. Get the chop.

Amazing food at a extremely reasonable price. What a hidden treasure, first time there and wow. It definitely isn't what I expected from looking at it from the outside. Upon entering, the bar area is immediately to the left which is reasonably sized with tables for groups or room at the bar itself. To the right is the restaurant, pleasantly separated from the noise and activities at the bar. Once in the dinning area it's almost like going to Grandma's, the ambience is that kind of classic family dining room setting. China cabinet along with an old piano, gold framed mirrors and the tables look like they came directly from someone's house. The service was great, we were seated almost immediately, our servers, who worked great as a team, quickly got our drink order. A surprising note, the Reno Little Theater is next door, so they asked if we needed to get served quickly or had time to relax and enjoy ourselves. We started with Ahi, it was fresh and delicious, the salads were above average, I had the Caesar, she had the Ice Cube, the main course, we both ordered "The CHOP" OMG, clearly the right choice. A large 1 1/2"-2" thick center cut pork chop, perfectively prepapared, a massive serving of red mashed potatoes. The desert was Pineapple Foster with Coconut Ice Cream, their ice cream is homemade and worth saving room to enjoy. They are only open Wed-Sun but definitely worth the visit.

I recommend on the menu. The chef is amazing! I've never had a bad experience. The food is amazing! You need to make sure you save room for the in house specialty ice cream. All flavor is unique from Bleu cheese to habanero.

This was our first time here. We had reservations 6:15. we were seated and ordered the clams and blue cheese garlic bread. The bread was perfect to sop the garlic wine sauce juice in the clams. My wife ordered the pork chop. 16 oz cooked to perfection with red potato mash. I had the New York steak. it was cooked to a perfect medium rare.... for desert we tried several of the home made ice creams. I loved them all. This is a must try. We have found a new favorite dinner house. bon appetit.
