Why, yes! I did give the polo lounge five stars! You're probably wondering why and that's fair. It's been years since I've been inside this building but in that time the polo lounge has undergone an incredible transformation. Gone is the smoky dive cougar den that once was, and now thrives a lively bar, billiards room, nightclub and lounge , all of which is completely smoke-free! The crowd was as friendly as always. The live music was more than entertaining, and to this cake the whiskey selection behind the bar was what I'd call exceptional for a place like this, and the pricing was unbeatable! I ordered a Frey ranch rye whiskey, neat and it came out as a 2 to 3 ounce pour for under $15! I noticed quite a few allocated bottles Japanese whiskey, and more that I would've liked to of tried had I had more time but after our experience, I'll certainly be back sooner than later!

This was a really dope spot! Never been before, but the vibe was really cool. I had no idea this place existed until just recently and really enjoyed it. Loved how they showed the music video on one side of the building where the dj and dance floor was. Other side was the bar and then pool tables. Didn't get the female bartenders name, but she was very friendly and chill. Deff gonna remember this spot!

Polo Lounge is a surprise each time. Not open on Sunday, however, the rest of the week has much in store... From karaoke Mondays, bingo Tuesdays, comedy shows, a monthly burlesque, DJ Bobby G and/or live bands on the weekends! Oh - and two pool tables! The crowd will vary depending on the night from 20s to 60s (and more!) Polo Lounge is a place to check out. Parking is typically not an issue - can get crowded. Cards accepted. Nick and Robert know how to make you feel welcome and pour you a tasty beverage.

I've been going to the Polo Lounge for years. Love the owners! The staff is great, music is fantastic and can't wait to hit the dance floor! The people who go are great!

Disappointing. Nice decor, good initial ambiance; live music and karaoke nights. However, I had a very bad experience. A very large, drunk and aggressive man was harrasssing and threatening customers. Management was aware of the situation. Finally, the man started a fight with a karaoke singer on stage. The two of them went outside to fight. I saw the drunk man headbutt the other man (viewed out the window). Then the drunk man reentered the bar. He was not thrown out, the police did not come. It seems to be a Dangerous place. Occured 10/26/23.

Probably one of Reno's favorite "dive bars" for the older crowd, the music, dancing, and overall atmosphere here make for a fun spot. It has that kind of tacky, old school charm. The only drawback is that seating for more than four is at a premium.
