I wish I could give Anthony's Chophouse more than five stars because it is phenomenal. We were celebrating so we shared the Crab Cakes starter and had the Tomahawk Steak for Two as well as the Bananas Foster and everything was delicious! The service is awesome as well, Luis was attentive and friendly.I highly recommend Anthony's!!

Was the best dinner out in ages. Our waiter, Joe, was polite, knowledgeable and attentive. The host, Kennedy, was a doll. Our four course meal was truly second to none. I am a huge steak house fan, (Ruth’s Chris, Duke’s, Charlie Palmer, etc), and this meal blew me away. Everything was prepared perfectly and beautifully presented. When you first take the escalator down it Is a stunning view. You are greeted right away. We got there a bit early but we we're seated immediately. The hostess told us who our waiter was and told us to have a great dinner. Thomas came over and filled our water glasses and introduced himself and made sure we had everything we needed. Johnathan our waiter came over and got us drinks and took our order he made eye contact and made sure we understood the menu and let us know what was the best!The bread basket comes out warm with an assortment of delicious breads.I ordered the duck duo with fig sauce and glazed walnuts with clam chowder and lobster mac and cheese. The duck was ok. You could barely taste the fig sauce and there were no glazed walnuts on my plate. The clam chowder and the lobster mac were delicious and a must try.The lobster mac and cheese was not only creamy it was also savory and just a perfect mix of flavors. It's a must try!My hubby ordered the red bird chicken with side salad and blue cheese dressing. The chicken was dry. But the salad had amazing blue cheese crumbles that just melt in your mouth and make your taste buds go wild!For dessert we shared the mousse trio charcuterie board. It was to die for the flavor mixtures were spot on. The only thing was the cheese the brie was delicious but the other cheese needs to go replace it with something better.Thomas was on top of taking our empty dishes right away and refilling our waters. He was so sweet.Let's talk liquor my hubby ordered the old fashion it was mostly whiskey. When you make an old fashion you want to have a sweet yet tart flavor. This was lacking.The mangotini was interesting the mango puree kept separating from the liquor and there seemed to be a crazy amount of sugar at the bottom. It was ok but not a noteworthy drink. Lastly I ordered a raspberry drink it was gross but hubby liked it so hey.This is a great place for a date night out. It sets a beautiful mood and you feel spoiled!

Well,,,,never got to taste the food.We made reservations for 6:30 on 4/6/23.Showed up at 6:25.After 20 minutes of waiting we left.You make a reservation to be seated at your requested time...have never experienced that at an upscale restaurant before...Ruined it for us,,,will stick with Western Village Steakhouse for great service.

Anthony's has become one of our ‘must go to' places when we're in Reno! It's old school ambience reminds us of the old Harrah's Steak house; the service was excellent, and the food was just as good as the last time. Consistency matters! See you next time!

Also, you can't find a better selection of wine that is nicely and properly displayed. Art can guide you with any food and wine pairing needs for your meal. Just an amazing place to have dinner in all of Reno/Sparks!

I can’t believe I’ve never given this place a chance before! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The manager and the assistants were very attentive, and Jonathan was really one of the most thoughtful and kind servers I’ve ever had. This place really blows every other steakhouse in town out of the water. Can’t recommend enough and we’re excited to have a new place to go for special occasions!

Change in menu wasn't for me. The new bread trio was a dissapintment. The scallops were okay, use to love them. Salad was just average. Biggest disappointment was no more 24 layer cake.
Our Chophouse experience was over the top fantastic. We were attended by more than 5 waiters and waitresses. The food was excellent and the manager hooked us up with an excellent wine suggestion. We highly recommend the Chophouse.
It's expensive, so value is subjective. What I can say is that it's an excellent Resturant .. so value isn't in the equation. On par with Chicago and New York Steakhouses.

The clam chowder was excellent but the seared scallops were raw. When I asked them about it the response was well they're seared. I said seared is not raw and asked them to fix it. They took my plate away with the mostly uneaten side dishes and eventually brought me back only my scallops, slightly more cooked. So I asked about the side dishes and they took the scallops away and eventually brought my scallops back with a little bit of the side dishes. This whole debacle added a solid 20 minutes to our meal and they did nothing to make me feel better about the experience.

First time here. Sat at the bar with a bartender named Melody. So glad we did. She really made our evening even better. So personable and made great drinks too. Had two great dirty martini's and then a chocolate one to end the evening. A friend had told us how great the burgers are there. It didn't disappoint. We each got a salad (also really good) and then split the burger which also came with fries. The meat was thick and juicy. The only negative is it took awhile to get. But we were having fun at the bar so really didn't matter. Overall a great time. We'lll be back the next time we're in town.

The food was amazing !! Large, sweet and perfectly cooked lobster !! The fillet was very tender and cooked to perfection as well. Khan , our server, is always without exception the best in town. Mel the hostess is always able to accommodate whatever we request. These two make our dining experience exceptional.
