This is by far the best beer bar in the back of a liquor store that I have ever been to. When I walked in, they were blaring Van Halen, the game was on TV, and there was a dude with a righteous shiner and an ankle monitor sitting at the bar. Five stars all the way. This place is Union City as hell and I am loving every bit of it.

This place is great for their variety and in shop drinking area, but their prices are ridiculously high on most items. I understand how mark ups and overhead costs work, so I am not tripping off some increase but when a bottle of some gut- wrenching quality booze in a pint size cost more than a handle of the same elsewhere, it just doesn't make sense.

I am leaving this review for two purposes - 1) so that the owner knows how much I appreciate Dan and Max (and Tracy!) for what they're doing to make this such a great place to be at, and 2) for the vibe and atmosphere to others who want to come here and drink from the "tasting room". This is the spot.

My favorite craft beer store in the Bay with a cool small bar with a few TVs in the back. Fun to watch a Warriors or Niner game here. It's mostly regulars and everyone's super friendly. We love the manager Daniel, Sat, bartender Iman and John. They always have the best selection Moonraker, Great Notion, Alvarado, HenHouse, and most of the new or seasonal releases. They clearly have a good relationship with the beer reps since they always have the best craft beer.

Tremendous selection of beers to go. Always get the latest drops from all the best spots, including my favorite, Alvarado Street. And pretty awesome to have what feels like a hidden tap room in what, from the outside, seems like a normal liquor store. Can't beat it.

Visited Cork 'n Bottle for the first time today and I am sad that I did not find this place sooner! I am happy that I stumbled upon this gem in Fremont. First, SAT was very welcoming and made my first visit memorable. He answered all my questions and made sure I left a happy customer. In addition, his friendly attitude definitely won me over and will be coming back for sure! Second, the alcohol selection it self warrants 5 stars. They have a huge selection of craft beer that will make me come back and try more. I will also come back to see their spirit inventory.
