This place is the epitome of true aloha. I came in a little later than I should’ve, and everyone was in a hurry to get the place cleaned up so they could go home on time. I placed an order with them just as the kitchen was closing. But rather than continuing to close the kitchen the chefs in the back said it was completely ok. I expected to not get any food in the first place, and they hooked it up better than I could’ve imagined. They doubled down on kindness, im also deaf and struggle to hear people in conversation, they treated me with respect, dignity and compassion. Will always come back here no questions asked. Leave a tip these hardworking people definitely deserve it. Mahalo Nui Loa

Haven't been here for years. Had take out. The fish was soggy. The shrimp were pretty good but was covered with warm Mac salad. Should be in separate containers if to go. Woman that rang me up had a mouth full of food. Was disappointed.

Order a BBQ chicken mini today and the chicken was so old and dry it looked like a type of flaky fish. It was cold as though it has either been pulled from fridge or left over from lunch. I get it's the new thing to give bad food for drive thru, it doesn't make it right though. We keep trying simple due to falling in love with the service and food of the San Antonio Texas location. Y'all disappoint often.

It was very clean, everyone was very nice.Ordered one of the most expensive meals, pork lau lau.. it's supposed to be roasted pork wrapped in luau leaves and steamed to make it fall apart and juicy. The juice is supposed to go great with the rice.15 dollars. It was very dry, no flavor, wrapped in canned spinach. Very fatty, over cooked pork that tasted very sulfury. I was able to eat about three bites.I didn't make a scene or ask for a refund, but I did ask to exchange for a couple of musubi, they were very amenable.I might come back for musubi when I visit Reno but probably won't come back otherwise.Everyone was super nice though!

For a mini portion meal they sure do mean mini! You get to think pieces of beef. Sort of like a beef jerky. For the price definitely not worth it. I ordered through doordash.

FYI. Their grill does not stay on until 9:00 pm. I went in at 8:45 and was advised I could order fried food only.

So.. This place is OK. I feel like it used to be really good, but maybe they got a new cook and now not so much? The rice is really soggy sometimes, sometimes it's a good combo of sticky rice. The chicken katsu is hit or miss too. I like mine crispy, and they used to make it great but now it's mid. the sauce that comes with it is super delish. oh and i like to drench my rice in soy sauce so don't judge lol. Anyway, i usually only eat here when i've exhausted all the other fast food options. There isn't much competition for good hawaiian food in reno/sparks so i settle. Give it a try for yourself, or don't?
