Real fresh fish. Sushi was outstanding. Our chef was friendly and fast.

Very disappointed in this place. We ordered for the 1st time (will be our last) through Grub Hub. Its not about the delivery but the food. I specifically ordered the house chow fun and got beef only. The chow fun was mostly vegetables and the honey walnut prawns were more shrimp than prawns (very small) with very little sauce. We won't be ordering there again.

I loved this restaurant so much and it makes me sad to have to write this, but I will never go back here again. I placed a to go order online at 7:45 and went to pick up my food about 45 minutes later. When I got there, the restaurant was empty and a girl with short brown hair immediately and rudely told us they weren’t taking any more orders. We told her we had ordered online and she begrudgingly went to check for our order. She came back to the front and started looking around and closing the drawer, so I assumed they might still be putting the order together and we continued to wait. When she was done counting her drawer, she looks at us like an after thought and says “oh we didn’t get to your order.” At this point it had been over an hour since we ordered. I asked why somebody didn’t call us and let us know and she said they were too busy. Too busy and yet the restaurant is completely empty? Worst customer service I’ve had in a long time and this is probably the second bad review I’ve ever written. I will never go back here.

My precious review was glowing which is why I will give the restaurant 2 instead of 1 stars. The food is awesome but the service I have received the last couple times of going has been very poor and with the many other options in the area I will be dining elsewhere in the future.

We have loved this restaurant for over 20 years and now ???? Last night there was no A/C, uncomfortable, food was mediocre and price increases were beyond reasonable. I know COVID has taken a toll but this is beyond that. There was one bright spot, the waiter was great!

My reason for this review is very simple. After ordering for my family and spending $75 for take out, my child found not one but TWO black hairs in her food. When I called, the young man who answered asked me what did I want him to do...? Ummm....how about be shocked, be concerned hair is in your food!?! Offer a manager? My direct answer was to offer a refund on the food that ONE DISH that not one person I know would want to eat. I was placed on hold......oh wait, no managers are there. I said well heres my phone number have them call me back. He said do you even have proof of the hair.... I mean, why would I call? I said do you even have to ask that? His response blew me away. He said: yes because I just wanted money back. No. I'm disgusted. I've been going to Shanghai since it opened. My entire family has and most of my friends! To have someone insinuate I'm calling in a complaint, a legit complaint just for money back- on a dish my child could not eat....spoke volumes. So here is your proof, Shanghai. Enjoy your food there if you choose to go. Edited because the ownership called me and extended their deepest apologies. They were shocked by what happened. Refunded me some of our money and recognized that they knew who was as a patron. Thank you!

At 1st I was hesitant. Wasn't sure what was going on! But when I slowed down and payed attention just let them guide you they have the best flavors the best pairing etc....... this sushi is top notch and to fall into heaven....
At the top of my list for Chinese take away. Decent quality and quantity. Priced on the low end. Clean, interesting atmosphere. Friendly, efficient service. Checks all the boxes!

I just ordered here tonight for delivery and I was impressed by the hot fresh and crispy food, I will be ordering here again. Surprised by the negative reviews but I guess everyone has to cry somewhere.

Tried this place for lunch and the food and service was great. Decor is a very nice Chinese/Japanese restaurant. Plenty of booths and tables. The waitress was very attentive and checked on us many times making sure we didn't need anything else or refills. We ordered the po po platter appetizer and it was fancy with a file grill on top to reheat your food. We also ordered combination chow mein and honey walnut shrimp. I plan on coming back to try the AYCE Japanese next
