i come here all the time when it is opened. it is the best sushi i ever had. they make fresh sushi as you order it and if you’re at the all you can eat they make it infromt if you. i live in sacramento but i go to taho every weekend and it is by far my favorite place

We went to the Fortune Restaurant last week, it was horrible!! We ordered kimchee, which not only tasted horrible, but was soggy! We ordered won ton soup, broth was good, but meat inside was tough, vegetables soggy. Finally we ordered Broccoli and beef with oyster sauce...The closest I can come to a description was that it resembled a lean cuisine frozen meal We didn't eat much of the food and then waited and waited for a bill, we finally got up and went to the front desk area and asked for a bill, our waitress was reading a magazine! Was SO disgusted!!

Stayed at MontBleu last weekend and thought my family would try this restaurant. Mistake! The Spring Rolls taste like rubber. However, their sushi isn't too bad. Overall the food lacks flavor. But I guess you can't expect too much being that this is a hotel restaurant. Next time I will just eat outside the hotel I will say that the service by our waitress was good. She was pleasant.

Server had his first day, and I thought he did a splendid job. Food was not good. Tempura was overly oily. Good tempura should be white, not soggy and yellow. I would not return. Overpriced.

I should have ran when I saw that this restaurant does sushi and Chinese food, but let's start with the service. The place was nearly empty on a Saturday night and all of the servers were up in the front yucking it up while we waited for our drinks. We finally had to wave someone over to get them. The sushi was well below average and the albacore had a weird, dry piece attached to it that was like jerky. It was inedible. The chow mein noodles were all wrong. I liked the pork buns, but you can get the same at Trader Joe's. This restaurant willl no be open for long. Avoid it.

My stomach still hurts a week after I eat in this place, not to mention how expensive it was compared to the quality. DONT GO HERE!!!

My Pad Thai was more of a soup than anything. We also ordered bbq pork buns, which was microwaved. I highly recommend you do not come here...

I've had bad experiences with casino restaurants in Tahoe so I typically avoid them. However, my son injured himself and we were stuck in the hotel so we decided to give this place a try. We ordered take out and brought it to the room. We were pleasantly surprised by the fresh and flavorful food we received. We ordered: - garden salad, which was fresh and had a flavorful dressing - curry chicken skewers, which were tasty and good but a little too charred. Fortunately the char didn't dry out the overall skewer - Thai fresh spring rolls, which were super yummy (I was very disappointed that I had to share them) (FYI the peanut sauce that comes with the skewers and fresh rolls has an nice kick, but my kids couldn't handle it) - chicken chow mien, which had much larger chunks of vegetables then I am used to, but I really liked. The vegetables retained some crunchiness and had a nice wok flavor. - baby bok Choi in garlic sauce, which was yummy and good, but the pieces were super big. I'm glad I had asked for forks since they came with knives. Otherwise it would have been very difficult to eat with just chop sticks. Overall pretty happy with the food and happy we decided to try it out.

The $30 per person all-you-can-eat sushi meal started well until the chef said "you better eat your rice or I will need to charge you by roll". I immediately stopped eating and asked for my check. Unbelievable. I will say that the food was delicious. Too bad they have poor policies.

The sushi is served with fish scales; the imitation crab is served with its plastic wrapping; the chicken in lettuce wraps are big chucks of chicken served with a burnt tasting sauce. For what it’s worth the steamed buns are decent and had no trouble returning the two sushi rolls.

This place was a life-saver! We stopped by with a group of 6 late-night after a concert let out. We hadn't eaten all day and were literally willing to eat ANYTHING! Luckily, this place was open! The service was OUTSTANDING. Our every need (and then some) was attended to while we dined and we did not go without anything that we needed. The waitstaff was very pleasant. The food was SO GOOD. Around the table we had lots of chowmein, rice, meat plates, pork buns, and even sushi. Even my house-salad was great! The ONLY complaint that I have is that I think their veggie roll made my stomach upset. I am a vegetarian and ordered 2 meatless rolls. When I got them, I noticed they smelled like fish but didn't have any fish in them. I was absolutely, painstakingly starving so I dealt with it. I imagine they rolled the veggie rolls on the same surface they roll their meat rolls and that could be what the smell and my stomach ache were from later in the night. Other than that, everything was awesome and we will remember this place!

The sushi smells like fish, feels like silicon, and has the quality of a gas station

Pick a cuisine and stick with it. Came in for some Chinese food and left very disappointed. We ordered the siu mai and beef chow fun. The dumplings were old. They did not seem like they were steamed but frozen then microwaved, sad. The meat was overcooked with very little flavor. The overcook on the meat carried over into the beef chow fun. The meat was tough and dry. The ginger flavor in the noodles was overpowering. Overall a horrible Chinese meal. We also ordered 2 hand rolls which were good. They were the only thing that saved the meal. Feel sorry for the wait staff as they were very pleasant and attentive.
