Don't let the unassuming entrance fool you; there's a great cocktail bar in here. The menu is interesting and the bartenders are talented. The only issue here is the price, frankly. $22-25 per cocktail is wild, even for Tahoe. Lots of people mention the mandatory cover charge for live music also; we didn't have a cover, as there wasn't anyone performing at the time. If you tacked on another $15 per person to our experience, I would've dropped another star from this review. It was worth checking out, but I'm not sure we'll be coming back considering the price. There are other places a short walk away with good vibes and cocktails for far less.

Such a great place. Coffee shop in the am and bar in the pm. Love the music. Great drinks and desserts. The decor and bar is beautiful! Love the seating area. Service was quick our bar tender made the old fashioned and surprised us with a guava mojito.

It's the only upscale cocktail lounge in the area and sure they will charge for that ($20 min per drink). The drinks are good, but not great. For that price, I would expect some wow factors.Nonetheless, it's dark, quiet, well decorated, and nice. I would recommend a stop.

**Review of Noel's Coffee and Apothecary: Elevating Stateline's Day and Night Experience** Nestled discreetly in the heart of Stateline, Nevada, Noel's Coffee and Apothecary is a hidden gem that beckons to be discovered. Stepping through its unassuming facade, guests are transported into a world of sophistication and allure, reminiscent of the Prohibition era. As a retired mixo, I can confidently attest that Noel's delivers an unparalleled experience, seamlessly blending the charm of a speakeasy with the finesse of a craft cocktail bar. By day, Noel's delights patrons with its incredible coffee offerings. From meticulously brewed espressos to velvety lattes, each cup is a testament to their dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Locally sourced beans are expertly roasted to perfection, resulting in a rich and aromatic brew that is sure to satisfy even the most discerning coffee aficionado. But as the sun sets, Noel's undergoes a magical transformation, transitioning from a cozy coffee haven to a vibrant cocktail lounge. The libations at Noel's are nothing short of extraordinary. Crafted with precision and passion, each cocktail is a masterpiece, blending unique flavors and premium spirits to tantalize the senses. From classic concoctions to innovative creations, the menu boasts a diverse selection that caters to every palate. Whether you're sipping on a meticulously crafted Old Fashioned or indulging in a bespoke creation tailored to your preferences, every sip is a journey of flavor exploration. But Noel's is more than just a destination for exceptional libations; it's a haven for aficionados of live music. Nightly performances by talented musicians set the stage for an unforgettable evening, infusing the air with rhythm and soul. The ambiance is electric yet intimate, creating the perfect backdrop for lively conversation or quiet contemplation. What truly sets Noel's apart is its commitment to creating an immersive experience for its patrons. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the vintage decor to the impeccable service. The staff, in particular, are a standout feature of Noel's. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable about the extensive cocktail menu, but they also exude warmth and friendliness, making every guest feel welcomed and valued. The atmosphere exudes a sense of nostalgia, transporting guests to a bygone era of glamour and intrigue. In a town like Stateline, where nightlife options are limited, Noel's Coffee and Apothecary is a beacon of excellence. It fills a void in the culinary landscape, offering a sanctuary for those seeking refined cocktails, captivating entertainment, and an atmosphere of unparalleled sophistication. Whether you're craving a morning pick-me-up or a night of revelry, Noel's is the ultimate destination for those who appreciate the finer things in life.

We really enjoyed and the food and drink, and the food was great - hearty and straightforward. Really, the only somewhat off-putting part of the experience was being told that our booking was good for only an hour and a half, and thereafter, they'll see what they can do. For this reason we chose the wall bar section to be out of the way as best we could. Service was excellent. Live music was fun but definitely doesn't scream speakeasy, very loud past a certain hour. We had a great time! Wish the music was just a touch allowing for conversation though

The drinks are mediocre and very expensive. They also charge a $15 cover per person without telling you. The host was really rude to us when we asked about the password mentioned on the menu, which was useless despite being a speakeasy.

Heard from friends that there was a new speakeasy in town and had to try it out! Came after dinner around 9pm and was told we needed a reservation. Bummer! But we were able to book one for 9:15pm. (Maybe host shouldn't turn people away if they have available tables??) Once we got seated, we ordered our drinks. Our server was ok, but wasn't the most attentive. I saw on the menu that it said "give your server todays password". So I looked it up on Insta and asked the host what giving them the password does. He said very abruptly "nothing" and walked away. Turns out the password is to get into the speakeasy, but not on Fri/Sat night (they are open to anyone). Drinks were OK but overpriced. $20 for a old fashioned is a bit steap. That's more expensive than the top tier restaraunts in Tahoe. 2 stars for the drinks and ambiance. This is where things went BAD. We got our bill, and there was a $15 per person cover charge on the receipt. We were never told by the host or server about the cover charge. $150 for 4 cocktails is a joke. Won't be surprised if this place doesn't make it. Overall dissapointed and won't be back. Here is where

Had a coffee in the early morning. My chai tea was absolutely delicious. Better than Starbucks for the same price. Very soothing atmosphere for an early morning break from the casinos lol. Went back at lunch time to hear live music and relax again. Very good service good coffee and cocktails.

Stumbled across this place accidentally on the way back to the resort and SO GLAD we came in. The atmosphere is top notch and so classy (but not overwhelming and can come in casual attire) The design of the entire place is stunning with a real 1920s speakeasy feel. The drinks are absolutely delicious and the live music is wonderful. Our bartender Alex was great, quick to serve and so helpful with any questions!

Atmosphere was definitely different than the normal south lake Tahoe experience.Cocktails were good (with larger pours), slightly inconsistent from one to the nextthe $15 is annoying, but makes sense in 2 parts.1) goes towards the musician,2) keeps out the riff-raffOne thing i didn't appreciate was the gratuity baked on top of the $15/person coverI really hope more unique places like this arrive and stay in SLT, however i worry about the longevity of a place like this

So glad we happened upon this place while on vacation! The vibe was my personal hallelujah chorus; chandeliers, dark lighting, couches, beautiful bar with a stocked wall of liquor, black and white classic movies playing on the TV, live music, and excellent service from Myles. We went twice, both nights around 7:00 or 8:00. There was no cover at that time and no reservations needed. The pear d,jour was fun and tasty. We had fun!

Very cute spot and the coffee was very delicious. We also had the Monsieur sandwich and it was amazing. Baguette was perfectly toasted. Will come back next time we're in Tahoe. ☕
