Drinks are all in the double digits. One is $ 17.99. I enjoys my pricey marg. Pork belly tacos delish. Fish tacos pretty good. Churros are the bomb. Biggest television screens ever. This is a sports bar with mexican food. But, I wasn't mad at it

Made a reservation for standard dining seating and when we arrived we were told they were only seating in the bar. Waitress was very polite and professional but food was mediocre and my premium cocktail was served in a plastic cup, definitely not worth $.

Tacos were tasty. Good variety. Margarita was tasty as well. Place was too loud (sports tv's). Overpriced, but we were in a casino so there's that. Would probably return. Service was very pleasant.

This place advertises as the "Football experience" it was nothing of the sort. Just a regular bar that couldn't make the drink I requested (old fashion) to advertise itself as the place to be for football, I figured it would be more sports inspired. The food was just ok. Not a place I would visit again

We had reservations for 3, Saturday night, the host wanted to seat us early, but we need to wait for the 3rd party. The restaurant was busy, I think they were short handed, but our waitress, Julie was great! She was working very hard to make sure her orders were correct & placed in the computer correctly. Julie delivered our food hot & correct. The food was very good & plentiful. The 3 of us enjoyed our dinner. When in Tahoe at Harvey's we will eat at El Jefe, again.

Had a great dinner with outstanding, attentive service from Makenna. I had a taco salad with lime chicken and my husband had the chicken tinga enchiladas. Both were delicious. I also tried a house-infused tequila margarita that was really tasty. I tried the strawberry mint this time. Looking forward to coming back soon.

They are known for their Bloody Mary drinks....except that they were out of the mix at 5:30 in the evening. Margaritas taste like they are out of a pre-mixed bottle. The beverages were definitely not worth what they charged. Table side guacamole was pretty good. As with everything Tahoe hotels - chips & salsa were extra. Go across the street to Lucky Beaver - much better food at a more reasonable price.

The server was brand new and very sweet. Family liked the tacos and the steak burger, but enchiladas were meh and the chicken on the taco salad was disgusting. It was supposed to be lime chicken but it was completely unseasoned and smelled/tasted like cardboard. The beer was barely cold. Overall would not recommend.

The queso fundido was pretty good, but the portion is very small for $15.99. The beans are very plain barely seasoned. The avacado crema was great. The texas bbq burger was good, but the fries were also plain very lacking in salt. The al pastor tacos were good. It wasn't super busy and everything came out quickly.

Potential to be so much more. Server seemed disinterested in making the table side guacamole and left it for us to make. Drinks were overly sweet and served in plastic cups. Paying $28 for a basic burrito should warrant a real glass. So much potential but missed the mark.

Made reservations for 7:30pm Friday night 4th of July weekend thinking it would be busy. We arrived on time and the restaurant was at best 1/4 occupied as in 75% empty. Our party of 3 ordered 3 drinks ( 2 margaritas and 1 Ranch water) 1 order of chips and dip and queso and a plate of tacos. Food came out 5 mins before drinks. Drinks finally came out after asking our server where and when our drinks are going to come out. The margaritas tasted like mixer only, ordered an additional shot per drink. Have never had such horrible drinks!

Food was good, we made a reservation but got there early and they sat us no problem (although they had just opened). Service was good until the end when we were waiting for the check it took about 15 minutes. Overall a good experience
