I am from the Bay Area and my daughter was getting married in Tahoe. I called Grace's last Thursday for a cake on Saturday. I know that they were busy but made a really nice cake.I am not really a cake person, but that was the best cake I have ever had. I honestly did not know cake could taste that good. I am not kidding. Everyone just loved the cake. Usually people just have a few bites of a wedding cake, but after a huge dinner, everyone tried their best to finish their piece. I wish I had ordered a larger cake, just to have extra. Thanks Grace.

Caitlin has been nothing less than amazing! I called on a Thursday to have a cake made for my wife's birthday and have it delivered on a Monday and I had no clue how where to start. I knew I needed a cake DAIRY FREE, Gluten FREE and NUT FREE. On the first call, she was able to walk me and guide me through her website and help me choose the perfect cake. She was able to also make Lemon Bars that were DAIRY FREE, Gluten FREE and NUT FREE! Well, Saturday morning, things got interesting as I received a note that the road we live on will be CLOSED On Monday ( day of delivery!!!) ... Immediately I called Caitlin check if we can get the cake one day early...."She said YES! We will make that happen!!!" Sunday afternoon, ONE DAY EARLY!!, Caitlin got the BIRTHDAY CAKE & LEMON BARS ready and they were nothing short of AMAZING!!! Who knew DAIRY FREE, Gluten FREE and NUT FREE birthday cake and lemon bar can taste that good!! My wife was thoroughly impressed when I told her about it. My experience with Caitlin and her team was so amazing, the communication was fantastic, I will definitely buy from her again!!!

I can not say enough good things about our wedding cake from Cakes by Grace. Caitlin, the head baker is talented! Being that I am gluten free, I am used to having limited cake options, not at Cakes by Grace, it felt like she could make anything safe for me to enjoy. At our wedding several people who are not gluten free grabbed a piece of the gluten free cake, and had no clue (it is that good!) We enjoyed Caitlin and her delicious treats so much that we stop by the shop every visit to Tahoe to say hi and get something sweet for our trip.

Our experience with Cakes by Grace was exceptional. I was hoping for a marvelous cake and I must say CBG hit a home run. We were celebrating my daughters 30th bday. We ordered the Swedish Princess cake. It was delicious and beautiful. I asked CBG to deliver cake to my daughters home. Early afternoon we realized we would not be home. I called CBG and she hand delivered to the restaurant. When the birthday girl saw the cake she said it was the most beautiful cake she has ever seen. It looked like lavender Mable with all shades of purple with gold veins. Purple is my girls favorite color. Thank you Cakes by Grace (CBG) you made our day

The chocolate cake is so delicious that my 2 year old daughter can't stop eating while we are having a photoshoot. Next time we go back to SLT will make an advance order here.

We found Cakes by Grace on the internet and called and asked if they could help us. We had a picture of the original cake and they did an awesome job replicating our cake. We also needed 48 cupcakes and a few gluten free ones. Guess what... They had those for us as well. Caitlin Thomson, Executive Baker was a lifesaver that day. They had a beautiful cake stand for us to borrow and they delivered the cake as they knew we had to get ready for the wedding. The cake was delicious too! We ordered a lemon tart to help celebrate my mom's birthday and it was phenomenal!! My mom (who is a tough judge) absolutely loved it and said the flavors were perfectly balanced and appreciated that it wasn't too sweet. Caitlin was also incredible to work with. She was very responsive via email and I appreciated her squeezing this order in with 2 days' notice. We will absolutely order from Cakes by Grace next time we're in Tahoe!
