Horrifically long lines ALL THE TIME. Often only one incompetent person working. Constant mistakes in our orders. Food quality is poor. Everybody attempting to get coffee is generally miserable. There are too many issues, indicating that the management doesn't care. If Peet's were smart, they'd close this location... it's doing way more harm to the brand than good. And this has gone on for years. I'm a lifelong lover of Peet's, and it pains me to see it run like this... I'm finally willing to say that my wife and I won't be back.

Got the almond danish which was really good and the latte which was steaming hot. Its clean and within Boomtown. Service was prompt and friendly.

9/20/2023 A much needed stop for a restroom break and coffee.. I do love my Peets!

Service was very slow. No actual Peet's bakery items available, but you can get a Costco muffin. We ordered a vanilla latte and chai latte. The vanilla tasted like steamed milk. The chai tasted like it has coffee in it. They were so hot, it took awhile to taste it. We threw them away.

On the road and in need of coffee. Saw the reviews and wasn't thrilled about stopping here, but my coffee need was greater. Pete's is inside the casino (south side of building) & the service we got along with our coffee drinks were great! Thought a more recent review and pic will help other passersby in need of coffee. This isn't my ambiance, but giving 5 stars to offset the past horrendous reviews.

I travel to reno every month and i only stay at boomtown, always a refreshing stay nice people and clean rooms. A little outskirt of downtown but its nice quiet and not busy. Not to mention nice views!

No hussle and bussle here! Can relax and enjoy your trip. Plenty of slots to enjoy, live music nightly and tons of fun to be had! We bring our kids to Boomtown and they get super excited when they see it!

We really enjoyed staying here. It is very nice and convenient place to get away for a few nights. The hotel staff are always friendly and helpful. We like the location because it is easy to get out and explore but not so crowded that you can't enjoy yourself.

The price was way too high the room was way too small the only view was if we wanted to watch people swim in the pool which was really creepy to know that people can sit from their room and want you swim in the pool the reception desk was extremely slow it felt like it took 30 to 45 minutes just to check in when we had already booked the room online we booked two rooms under the same name, and for some reason they put them all the way across the motel so they weren't even by each other we finally got them on the same floor but they still weren't wasn't next to each other

We loved Boomtown and have stayed many times over the years, this time however, an employee entered our room and stole money. Several guests were victims. The person was caught, but we are out of $$$!

I have a lot to say about our visit to Boomtown. First, nothing that was advertised was available. No room service that was advertised in the room, it advertises five restaurants, and there were two - one was closed the whole time we were there, and one was closed at 7pm each night. There were three bars, two with no bartenders, no working internet service. No housekeeping, and when you ask for towels, they don't bring them. No free breakfast. Front desk was inexperienced, one woman appeared to be heavily medicated, the night manager was clearly in over her head. The only good thing at this place were the two bartenders at the only open bar. They were very nice and personable. Craig, the day manager, appeared to be nice, and took off the resort fees for our stay, but in our opinion, you shouldn't advertise what you don't offer. So many times they told us that the restaurants are independent of the hotel, but they are the ones advertising them as part of their amenities. Also, the games don't win, and as the front desk person told us, "we hear that all the time". We ended up driving back to Reno to gamble. Ironically, we had stayed at the Peppermill the three days prior to going to Boomtown. It was, hands down, the worst hotel experience we've had in years. We will never go back.

Very friendly staff. This was not the cleanest room. There is no breakfast at this location. Probably my fault for not looking but every BW I have stayed at has offered free breakfast. Make sure you ask for the pool key when you check in otherwise you will be walking across the whole resort/casino in your swimsuit, kids in tow, to get a key. The hotel desk is at the opposite end of the resort than the rooms and pool.

Boomtown is always a fun stop for the family, couple or solo! I've been coming here since I was a child! I have alway loved the fun center! Even the birthday parties. The employees are amazing and always inviting and friendly. Highly recommend
