A little unusual in that you have to order your food on one side and your beer on the other side. I guess it's actually two businesses operating together but they make it work. Great food, nice cold beer and classic Virginia City atmosphere. The bartender was wearing a Harley shirt so we had instant rapport and great conversation.

What a great saloon! Everytime I come here I feel welcome and appreciated. The owners care about you and make sure you are happy and satisfied. They may be "new" but they are the most genuine, friendly and authentic people. A giant plus currently is that they have two TV's for football playing constantly and an owner who loves the game. They are and will continue to be actively involved in their community I'm sure. This veteran operated bar is a must stop if you want to find some conversation and leave with new friends!

Came on a rainy day and needed some shelter. The staff was super nice and welcoming. We were the only ones inside and ordered a pulled pork sandwich and bacon cheeseburger. They give you an option to get potato salad or chips. My partner got the potato salad and thought that it was super good!! For the pulled pork sandwich, it was too bbq sauce-y for his liking. For my bacon cheeseburger, it was very mediocre. The price for both and a water bottle was roughly $26.

If you're looking for a nice lunch spot in Virginia City, this is it! Their menu is pretty no nonsense and they offer typical American fare like hot dogs, burgers, and steak sandwiches. They don't have fries, but everything comes with your choice of Lay's potato chips or potato salad. The seating is all outdoor but with some shady coverage. The burgers were perfectly cooked and had a delicious smokey/grilled flavor. Service was quick and very friendly! It was the perfect picnic style lunch spot for a sunny summer day. Also, be sure to check out the creamery next door for some delicious milkshakes and ice cream!

When I do come to Virginia City I always eat here and the first thing that goes down is the Potato Salad. I had Throat Cancer and have to be very careful of what I eat. Had the BBQ chicken Sandwich. I did pick through the chicken to get the tender chicken. The other part of the sandwich did not go to waste. The sandwich IS NOT A COMPLAINT. It is the side effect from treatments. The help they have (High School Kids) are outstanding along with the owner. Thank You..I will see you next year. Prices are great...

I'll start with the potato salad. The flavor was great. The texture of the potatoes was just right. This potato salad was the best I've had in some time.The employees were friendly, the cashier was easy to talk with.We sat outside, it was a nice day. Our order came out quickly and everything was correct.Very happy we chose this restaurant to eat at.
