Sadly, I can’t give you 5 STARS.Sandwich’s tasted FRESH and tasty , but the white bread was dry and flaky in areas and ok in other areasGot 2 sandwiches both were filled nicely. I don’t recall the names, one was Turkey with this amazing spicy jam and the other was Roast Beef& horseradish. They. are not skimpy. The staff looked clean and acted very professional and organized. The place was very busy with a soccer girls team, their leaders and parents, plus other patrons, still the place was well maintained.I Will definitely tell others and will definitely be my go to sandwich shop

Needed a quick bite to eat driving from Zephyr Cove to South Lake Tahoe. Pulled into a parking lot and saw Sierra Subs. The sandwich was delicious, quickly made, and the staff were extremely friendly. Three thumbs up!

My girlfriend and I stumbled across this little sub place on our recent trip to South Lake Tahoe. I ordered the Denali and she ordered the Yellowstone. Needless to say the food did not disappoint. These unique sandwiches where just what we were looking for to take for our day beach trip. The menu has an excellent selection of sub sandwiches (not just your typical Club or BLT) which are really cutely named after National Parks. The 2 guys that were there were super nice and very welcoming. You can definitely tell they have a passion for their food. I highly recommend stopping by if you are a sandwich lover, foodie, or simply just want something a little different. You will not be disappointed.

The meat was freshly sliced in front of you which was nice to see, however both sandwiches we got were on very dry bread. The little amount of spread on the bread did not help and the sandwiches were overall lacking compared to other sandwich options elsewhere

Went there for lunch based on the rating. First off, the staff is cool and the place is clean. I give 2 stars because the rolls are stale. My wife, my daughter, and I all had different types of rolls with our sandwiches, and all 3 rolls were stale. It would have been a pretty good sandwich because they use high-quality cold cuts and cheese, and the veggies are fresh. For me personally, if the bread is stale, it kills the sandwich.I don't know if I came on a bad day, but it was a Friday after the 4th of July, so I would think their bread would be fresh because it should have been a busy week. Sandwiches are pretty pricey, so you may want to ask about the bread before you order.

Visited a Sierra Subs recently and ordered the Redwood sandwich. Loved the dedication to freshness as they cut the meat right when you order. The toasting added a delightful crunch. A flawless sandwich experience - I'll definitely return. Highly recommended!
Wanted a sandwich and stumbled upon this gem. I recommend the John Muir...everything tasted fresh and good quality. I will be back next time I visit Tahoe!

Delish!! We grabbed a couple of subs and took them to the beach for a picnic.Fresh, flavorful and do NOT sleep on the jalapeño jam, it’s where it’s at ❤️❤️

Food was great but more importantly the service was outstanding! Preston waited on me and polite, knowledgable and has the customer service of an old soul, I'll be back! And I hope they use Preston to train other employees, he's the bomb!
