Excellent food, great service. Interesting place, definitely with a vintage vibe. We are from out of town, visited on recommendation. We loved it! If back in area, will visit again. Definitely make reservations in advance. There is street parking, and restaurant states you can park in municipal lot next to restaurant. Lot has a sign stating $10, but not sure if money collected at night though. We parked pretty easily on the street.

Update: The manager of the restaurant is now harassing me and stalking me online. why is a grown women harassing a 19 year old.I had a great service until after I left, and was bullied into giving a larger tip by the hostess I received a phone call and was threatened by the same hostess that to Each members of my party will be charged 20% gratuity on each card. This force me to go back to the restaurant with every member of my Party to clarify with her and felt like I was being treated like a criminal. On top of being forcefully, charged 20% on each card we were in a position where we paid even more money due to the lack of communication and misunderstanding of the server. Any establishment that berates their customers for not in their terms feeling like this was not enough should not be considered one of tasteful dining. As someone who comes from the restaurant business myself, this is quite an embarrassing situation that should never have occurred in the first place, and quite an unprofessional hostess.Update: The manager of the restaurant is now harassing me and stalking me online.

Food was good, the place is really nice, but our waitress was horrible. She acted as if she didn't want to be there, every time she talk to us she just looked mad for whatever reason. I went with my parents since my dad had come business meetings in Albany. My dad needed to use the company's card to pay for his meal, but his personal card to pay for our meal. He apologized to the waitress for "making her life difficult" but it was something he had to do. She completely messed up the cards and charged other things into the company card. She of course had to go back and fix it. Probably if she wasn't mad at life and if a rush this wouldn't have happened.
We dined on the night of February 28th. The temperature changed greatly that night and was very cold, but the restaurant was very cozy and warm.Compared with some restaurants where the service staff wear uniforms, the service staff here wear their own clothes, but the overall style is very family and warm.I especially recommend the octopus heel and scallop pasta. My girlfriend said it was the best Italian dish she had eaten in New York in two years.For those who go to Albany, whether you are traveling, doing business or taking the bar exam, I recommend visiting this restaurant as a happy ending.In addition, the negative reviews of our store seem to be mostly focused on "Tips". People who are coming here are reminded to give tips according to New York practice, unless the service network's performance is really poor that day.
