Stopped for the breakfast buffet with my wife. The greeter was friendly enough and there were only a few other people in the restaurant. I requested an omelette to order with server/greeter. 5 minutes later a very pleasant gentleman was walking out of the kitchen and asked how everything was. I explained I was waiting for an omelette that apparently he never received an order for. He had it out I. About 5 min. The buffet was $24/person. And when the server greeter brought over the bill it was for 3 people. They corrected that quickly and the table near us was overcharged for a single person and had to be corrected. Food was good for a buffet and a bit overpriced. I Won't be back here with other good options in town.

The restaurant is inside the Hilton Hotel in Albany. They have an extensive bar, but the menu is very limited. The employees are very friendly and give good service.

Only had breakfast there. It was OK for what was offered but nothing special and for $23 a person I expected something better. Waitress said they are trying to increase business. My tip to the hotel would be to lower the price a bit and maybe people would opt to eat there rather than go elsewhere.

My wife and I stopped by earlier tonight prior to the Celine Dion show. This was a well publicized concert and in addition the Albany Last Run was this evening. There were a lot of people in Downtown Albany. I called the restaurant around 4pm and was told that they do not accept reservations. My wife and I arrived about 5:25pm and the hostess seemed totally overwhelmed and didn't even greet anyone who was congregating at the entrance. Eventually a woman wearing black, who appeared to be the manager, showed up with a paper list of names. She told us it would be 15 to 20 minutes. We put our name in. Meanwhile there were plenty of empty tables but it seemed like they had about 5 people working in the restaurant. We waited until 6:15pm and then left having still having not been seated, and knowing there was no way we'd be able to eat before the concert. Given that this restaurant is part of the Hilton chain, I can't excuse their total lack of preparedness for the number of people who would want to dine there tonight. They should have a computerized check in system with the ability to text customers when their tables are ready. There isn't a sign of the name of the restaurant at the entrance probably because they dont want you to come. Really need a complete overhaul with the training. As a Hilton Honors Member I expect better.

I had dinner at The Charter Restaurant, which is in the Albany Hilton Hotel. The restaurant food is so much better than what is served for conference meals.

I had a lovely chicken breast and wild rice and vegetables for dinner and I am having a chicken breast sandwich for lunch.
Went for Christmas Dinner. Very disappointing. Service was exceptionally slow and uncommunicative. Food did not came out as described on menu. Overall, very poor.

I'm not sure why, but some confuse the bar with the restuarant! They're two different amenities at the Hilton! Charters is the main dining room restaurant!!! Sessions is the name of the lounge/bar!
