I actually h8 cheesecake. But my daughters love it, and the past dozen times I stopped by the shop it was closed ( sold out, or I didn’t check the hours). Today I went right after 12pm, the full menu of flavors was available. Very fast service, and I got 4 slices - cherry amaretto, lemon blueberry, chocolate fudge, and salted caramel brownie.
My daughters sampled each slice and liked each more than the last. So I gave them a try and just….wow. Simply amazing. Perfect crust : cake : topping ratios. Bold flavors, visually perfect slices, unique dense yet fluffy texture. I still h8 cheesecake, unless it’s Cheesecake Machismo.
I stumbled on this place while passing by the store and it was well worth the stop excellent cheesecake they've been here for 20 years and apparently there's a cult following and I can see why.

It’s a place you can get in real trouble, real quick if you don’t have a strong will. We always like to make sure we eat before we stop by and pick out our slices. It’s easy to come home with more than we can eat. So many choices and It’s all good. I can’t even say, which flavors I like the most. Owners are also friendly and we always have a good laugh. Life’s short. Have yourself a slice of cheesecake.

Received a cheesecake from my old man who had stopped in at Cheesecake Machismo, which had a very impressive selection of cakes to pick from. I imagine they must just have a cake base they start with, and then dress it up to match the flavor.
The one I received was the Lemon Blueberry. The flavor of the cake was on the lighter side, not as sharp as some cheesecakes and not as sweet either, falling squarely in the center. The texture was also quite soft, not crumbly or dry, closer to a soft clay. The topping, the blueberry & lemon, was refreshing and fruity. However it did not blend well with the cake, the two remained their own unique flavors in my mouth. Which I think was due to the consistency of the cake being a little too impenetrable to the jell of fruits, could be enjoyable, but not if you're expecting cohesion.
Overall, the cake was nice, lighter in both sweetness and density. A pretty good dessert choice.

My best friend and I went here to celebrate her 24th birthday - she was talking about visiting this store all week, and we finally took the 7 hour drive from Maine to visit the store. It was 100% worth it. Cheesecake is delicious, vibes are great. Would go again.
