Just had 3 pizzas delivered and they are horrendous wet rags. The bottom is chard, middle not cooked! ? all over the place inside the boxes. $85! Never again.

Friendly, fast, and DELICIOUS! Highly recommend the BBQ chicken pizza. You need to take out or eat next door at the distillery but it was yummy!

I’ve gone here twice so far for takeout. I ordered the exact same thing on two different occasions. Plain large cheese pizza. The first one was extremely fresh and I enjoyed it. The second one was very dry, and it seemed as if it had been sitting in the back room for at least a half hour before I got there, and I put the blame on them because I actually arrived about 10 minutes earlier than when they told me to arrive for the pizza. So they definitely gave me a stale pizza or it wasn’t cooked correctly. By the time I got home it was 8:30 PM and I didn’t feel like calling them and asking for a different pizza and having to drive all the way back, and I just ate it begrudgingly, and it really wasn’t very good. The first pizza, however, was pretty good. I’m not sure why there was a discrepancy because a place like this should be able to churn out the exact same pizza every single time you come. I am not sure I would go back based on getting that stale pizza the other night.

Positives- the pizza is not greasy and tastes like quality ingredients are used.Negatives- Both pies were very burnt. One of them they remade for us and it came back almost as burnt as the previous pie. We accepted, but burnt crust does not tastes good at all, it also very doughy. The woman at the counter did not acknowledge the issue with the pizza but at least she asked if we wanted another pizza made. This place certainly does not live up to the hype.

Glad to have had the opportunity to visit this well known local spot while visiting the area. Unlike any pizza joint experience i’ve ever had. First we ordered at a counter before being escorted through the back of a narrow alley into a small garden seating area. nothing formal, all low key.The food came out quick and the service was friendly.the pizza itself was some of the best i’ve ever had. very doughy with unique flavor that almost melts in your mouth. there was a perfect amount of seasoning over fresh mozzarella cheese. I like the options of various doughs to try as well. We went with the standard dough to get the original flavor. Also tried the garlic bread and house made meatballs. The sauce for both was equally delicious. I hope to have the opportunity to re-visit this location to try some of the speciality pizza and pasta options. Very highly recommended ? ? ?
I am not a local like a few of my friends who were unaware of this pizza parlor. The 10" size was ideal for a single person, and the 14" size was ideal for families or big parties. We had to settle for 10" pizzas because this location ran out of dough to make the 14", but the pizza was delicious. This hidden pizza jem is Albany's best. Try the fresh or regular mozzarella with any of the toppings.They offer seats adjacent to the bar, and if the weather is good plan to sit outside. Adding to our foodie list for the next time we visit Albany.

I really liked the Smoked Mozzarella Pizza first time when I ordered at the store. After couple of days I reordered online the same pizza and it’s all burnt. Seriously burnt and felt like I was eating charcoal. I really need a refund for this. Please double check your order before leaving the store.

Visited from Texas. Amazing old school Italian Pizzeria. I grew up on Long Island, NY and this was by far the best pizza I have ever had! Recommend the chicken and roasted red pepper pie

Authentic brick oven pizza with plenty of options. I recommend ordering ahead, and sitting in the bar while you wait. It has a warm, rustic atmosphere.Warning: don’t be confused, the pizza shop and the distilling company are connected!
