Oddly expensive and one bartender for the entire restaurant! We dropped in here on our way from Boston to Indianapolis. We were on the road, and this was one of the few places that was open. We are not exactly fast-food lovers, so we opted for a sit-down dinner somewhere, and they were open. The place is somewhere between a bar and the restaurant. It doesn’t have the cozy vibe of some of the similar chains. likely because there were big TVs at the bar, which lent it sort of a sports bar atmosphere, although I don’t think that’s what they were going for.The server was excellent; she was really on top of it, and she came by to apologize when our drink was so late. We noticed there was only one bartender, and at some point, our server avoided us a little bit, because clearly the drink wasn’t ready, and the food had already been brought, and she did not want to pass by us without the drink! To her credit, she was hovering around the bar, waiting for my drink. It was a cocktail, so I really wanted it before the food came out. A glass of wine with food is OK, but sipping on a cocktail while you’re having your meal feels a little odd in that it doesn’t really go with the flavors. Certainly a few sips after the meal or before the meal. But my meal was on the table for quite some time before I received my cocktail. I saw the bartender looking up the recipe. So I think not only was he the only bartender for the entire restaurant, but I think he may have been a bit new.The food was very good, and I was prepared to think this could be a stop if we saw this chain in the future, but… then I saw the bill. It’s my fault. I didn’t have my reading glasses on, and I ordered shrimp tacos and tuna tacos, and I did not notice how much of an up charge they were! Each shrimp taco ended up being $3 extra per taco and the tuna tacos were $3 extra per taco, so for three tacos, the charge was $28.80. That’s almost $10 a taco. That’s a bit pricey! Especially just for a chain restaurant. They did come with rice and beans, but still, that’s the type of price you pay for a meal at a much nicer place. Again, I’m the one who didn’t see it, but I also never would’ve expected that much of a upcharge per taco in a restaurant like this. Maybe a dollar extra for shrimp or a dollar extra for the tuna, but wow, these ended up being quite an expense! My husband liked his meal. It was a Cuban sandwich and sweet potato fries. In fact, he said it was an excellent version of a Cuban sandwich. They also charged us for soda water. Out of the gun. We always ask if they have soda water in the bartender gum, because they really should not charge for that. It’s just like ice or water. It’s not like they’re opening a Pellegrino. But they charged us almost 3 dollars and called it a club soda. Pretty cheesy really. The server was quick to bring the check. So we could get back on the road.So the quality of the food and server hovered around four stars to five stars, and the price was one star, and the bartender was a one star. So I just averaged to three stars for an overall experience.

My wife had parts of shells her seafood dinner. My son in law’s meal was cold and dried out. They no longer supply straws. They ran out of carbonation for the soda machine. This was the first time being here since before Covid and it was not a good experience compared to previous times.

Went to eat with my wife, daughter and mother-in-law, and I am truly disappointed. We ordered our drinks. They came to the table and I asked if we could have straws. We were told we don’t carry straws anymore yet they carry napkins and food trays to go.. My mother-in-law has tremors and shakes profusely so her holding a pint glass full of water is very difficult for her to drink. I had to go to the restaurant next-door and explain to them why I needed straws and they politely gave me straws and I brought them back into the restaurant. Then I got a dirty look because I put straws in the glasses. My daughter ordered pasta with sauce, and the sauce was like a tomato paste clumpy she couldn’t even eat it. My mother-in-law ordered a Gyro and there was no tzatziki sauce on it. We asked the server and she said oh well I see a little bit there would you like to order a side of Taziki sauce. I said yeah because this is not how a Gyro is supposed to be , I should know I’m Greek. My wife ordered the BLT and it was all lettuce and tomato. There was really no bacon on it at all. She could only eat half of it.My bacon cheddar cheeseburger was beyond greasy. I asked for no onions and it came with onions on it, asked for it to be cooked medium, and I came out on the rare side.I had to ask her to refill my water after she had walked by our table multiple times and saw that my glass was empty. She said I’ll grab it for you, after waiting for over 10 minutes I went to the bar and asked for water. She said oh I just brought you some, and told her that I have waited for 15 minutes and I have had nothing to drink. She asked if that was all we needed and I asked for the check and paid. She gave me the card and receipt back and hovered by the table to grab it . I moved it off the table because it’s very unprofessional to stand there waiting. We have eaten there many times and unfortunately do not plan on going there again.

Every order we had but dessert came out wrong....Asked for no meat on Mac and cheese - first time came out with chicken after we specifically asked for no meat. We sent it back and it came out with bacon the second time!I ordered the herb crusted salmon and received the coconut salmon.I asked for a pilgrim wrap to go and they never gave me the side of gravy that is promised in the menu. I paid $17 for it and they couldn't even remember the gravy after they messed up every other food we ordered anyway.Just a massive disappointment. Food quality was ok, but definitely not good enough to come back after we paid $130 for food that they literally messed up every part of our meal. Not even an apology just charging reputable restaurant prices for subpar food that was messed up multiple times.I don't know if the staff is really that incompetent or just nobody cares enough to put even the most minimal effort into food safety but we won't be back, that's for sure.Vegetarian options: We asked for meatless and received meat both initial dish and replacement, they clearly do not care about food allergies or food safety here

Place is either slammed or dead and no matter which the food always takes FOREVER. The menu is huge and they have so many items to pick from. The food is okay, basic chain style frozen, premade items. But nothing is over the top because they don't "specialize" in any one or even just a few items. They'd benefit from losing a page or two of the menu. The place is also nicely updated, but everything is always a mess and disheveled. It never feels like it's really all put together. Staff are friendly but they don’t check on your drinks or food… they just take your order and then deliver the check.

My wife and I stopped in to order food, to go, and have a drink at the bar. We had our drink and waited 45 minutes for the food to come out. We tabbed out because we didn't intend on staying and having another drink. We tipped approximately 25%. Then we were abandoned. They were busy so we thought it was just due to them being busy. Come to find out the food was at the cash register, dying, up front. None of the bartenders on duty told us, nobody came and got us. Food is cold and soggy. My family and I have been regulars for quite some time. Shoot, my teenagers even go there without us to eat there with their friends but they have expressed the same concerns lately. The past few visits have been pretty lackluster. This place has gone downhill. Stay away.Edit: My son, who absolutely loves your restaurant, went to go look at the piece of s*** pizza that you sold me out of the trash. I asked the bartender upon ordering, if, there was any onions on the Hawaiian pizza, she told me no. That should have been a hint that there was to not include onions on the pizza. So whilst my son who wanted to be loyal and stand by you, furthermore, found out how trash of an experience this was. I think you may have lost a few more customers.

Service was terrible and the restaurant is DEAD and I’ve counted 5 servers on. One of the waitresses that brought our food out rolled her eyes when I asked her for something I was missing from my order and didn’t even acknowledge me. The food prices are also pretty steep and you don’t get a lot of food for the value. And to top it all off I gave her $200 cash for $117 bill and asked for change for both of the $50 bills I gave her and she only brought back $53 worth of change. MAKE SURE YOU COUNT YOUR CHANGE HERE. She did make it right but still wow what nerve

Wasbt my idea to come here, ive NEVER it here, but never got around to leaving a review. WHELP been here 10 times in 3 years. Theres ALWAYS a problem. Either the service is good and the food is terrible. Or the food is great snd the service awful. Youll never get both good together. Tonight was no exception. I ordered buff chick sliders with bleu cheese dressing. Came out cold, and each slider had a pin prick of bleu cheese....except it wasnt bleu cheese. It was ranch. Wrong dressing, little of it, and cold. My friend ordered a bowl of chili. They forgot it so it came out as i was about half done w my sliders. He took the chili to go. I left the other two sliders uneaten. This was the worst visit. The other 9 have gone similar. I hope xgates can ditch this place and get a better chain in here. My friend in Danbury CT said theirs is bad too.

I'd like to start off this review by saying, ive been here before, honestly, really enjoyed it. Came back because of it. Will probably never come again. Let me set the scene, it was a wednesday night, no reason to be busy. 5 waiters, and a host. The host was the best part of our expirenece. As the reseraunt was dead, they stuck my (party of three) next to a party of 8, with 4 VERY loud kids. The whole place was empty, and i was sat right next to there. Now i appreciate this isnt the resteraunts fault for the noise, but there was no effort to move us as our waitress didnt appear for about 10 minutes for drinks. As she came bsck with our drinks, we ordered right away. One buffalo chicken salad, and two of the specialty honey pork tenerloin- one with honey sweet potato, one with sweet potato fries. This food took around 55 minutes to arive after ordered. Again, there were currently 5 tables sat, as we walked in. You wouldn't expect this wait, The waitress was no where to be found, so we couldnt even ask for a wait time. She seemed quite snobby, and was expremely unattentive. She went to go chat with friends before coming to us. Now i understand a wait, hut as the food arived, the salad was missing two key ingredients. The crispy onions, and tomatoes. The waitress said it wasnt missing anythjng, and we said, may we please see a menu because this isn't right (as weve gotten the salad before and got it again vecause of how enjoyable it was last time) After around 10 minutes she comes back, we point out the missing thibgs and she brings out two bowls with the onions and tomatoes. As if this wasnt enough, we were finished with our waters, she left before we could ask for refils and we were unable to find her. Continueing with the dissaster of food. The plates were huge, with the smallest amout of food possible in the middle. The tenderloin was hard, cold. there was so much sauce, it saturated through the paper and made half of the sweet potato fries soggy. After we had been done with our food for around 20 minutes, she is still no where to be found. we were slighty on a time limit to get out of the mall before our entrance closed. and she gave us no check, snd no box since she was too busy chatting with her friends. To maggies- i wish your waitstaff was more attentive, and took greater effort into ensuring a good experience.Kid-friendliness: Definitely

The food is always amazing! I have a severe gluten allergy and NEVER have had any issues. It is a little spendy, HOWEVER, the portions are HUGE and we had enough left for another meal.Dietary restrictions: Gluten allergy
