Best Korean BBq in the capital region! Meat is in high quality and service is awesome. The staff help you grill the meat so you don’t need to do it yourself. A little pricey but this is a NYC K-town like restaurant!

We've been twice and had a good time. The Korean fried chicken is good and crunchy. The servers were nice and attentive. It's not the highest quality nor most authentic, but we had a nice dinner with plenty of food, and there's plenty of options.

I don't know if Namu Korean BBQ has changed handsor not but the food and service is not as good asit was several months ago. We were a party of eightbut included two children under 10 children. My sisterand I are So. Korean and know Korean BBq well as my sisteruse to work in a Manhattan Korean BBq near Time Sqas a waitress. First of all, all Korean restaurantsstart with a number of traditional "appetizers" suchas Kimchi, Fish cake, Spiced Cucumbers, etc. Theportions of these were so tiny. For example, the blackbean dish had about twelve beans!!! Please, how much couldthese beans cost! The real problem was with the "attable" BBQ. We order two of most meat itemsto share including GAL BI, CHA DOL, spicy baby back ribs,SAM GYEOP, and SPICY PORK. These meats typically aremarinated but none were. Even the Spicy pork was broughtto the table as raw meat with the spices sprinkled on top.The meat prices ranged from $28-$39 for what looked like 1/2 half LB portions. They were not busy but Service was not good.Several times we needed to go to the kitchen area torequest more sauces, water refills...etc. What a disappointment! There are a number of alternative Korean Restaurants in the area. I would recommend any of these before Namu. What a shame!

Namu korean bbq Albany N.Y. We have tried Namu several times and the food portions and quality of ban chan was good this last visit was very disappointing, the portion was miniscule and ban chan was lousy, looks like they have cut quality in half and offered smaller portion but the price increased for smaller portions. Extremely disappointing, I asked to speak to manager and he refused to come talk to Me,I ended up paying for what I ordered and will never return. In this age of inflation restaurant can't cut their portion and increase prices, product must reflect with quality etc.I wish Namu well for future. But there are other restaurant that serve excellence and quality products.Parking: Plenty of parking in small mall setting

Had dinner with my girls at this place recently which was a first for most of us. The food was very fresh, plated well and everything we ordered was delicious! The restaurant was very clean and we enjoyed the ambiance. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will absolutely be back! Can’t wait.

The food was delicious! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The waitress was the nicest waitstaff I have ever interacted with. I accidentally dropped my chopsticks onto the floor and I was immediately brought a new pair without even having to ask.

This is a solid NO. The restaurant is roomy, hard floors so it could get loud with a crowd and a pretty extensive menu choices. It's really the only Korean restaurant that does full on bbq at the table in the area. But this is not charcoal style, this is gas and that's norm for some Korean restaurants. The smoky flavor is what we crave. I had the spicy Korean pork and squid and my party ordered Jjajangmyeon, a chinese black bean noodle with veg and usually pork, but no pork here, bulgogi, Korean beef and mul naengmyeon, a cold buckwheat noodle soup with a tangy very cold soup base with usually egg and Korean pear. The pork dish was incredibly spicy and although spicy is party of the flavor, it should not consume the dish that you can't taste it. There is a reason why people don't like asian spicy food. In Korean food, we balanced that with sweetness and it should be flavorful and not just numbing! The beef was plain, no marinade and that's normal and there is a dipping sauce that is added, the quality of the beef of small portion was almost $40. The spicy pork and squid was $32 and most of it was vegetable with very little meat. The soup base for both noodle dishes were watered down. Jjajang noodle should be rich and full of black bean flavor. The cold noodle should be tangy with a deep flavor. I don't even want to talk about the side dishes ( banchan) the kimchi was way old and summer kimchi was bitter. The other offerings were not worth mentioning. The bill was over $150 for four people for lunch. That's outrageous. The service was poor. The girl was busy looking at her phone while we waited for the check and water refills. We of course went Korean style and yelled for her. The whole place only had 3 tables filled! Anyway, as a Korean perspective, I do not recommend. We don't play when it comes to food. Furthermore, my family and I had stomach aches rest of the day. This should be very telling.

Warning! Stay away from this horrible restaurant. This place is a scam. Horrible quality of food and side dishes. They need to double the portion of each dish but the current price is still over priced. Probably my worst Korean bbq experience. I can predict that they will soon close their business. The space is large but only 4 diners on Saturday evening. That tells it all. You will get the final blow on your face when you receive the check because they charge a credit card fee if you don't pay in cash.
