This is a hidden little restaurant in albany. You go past the convenience store section and the restaurant is in the back. The service was good as there are not many tables, you get lots of attention, and they have an extensive menu. They have many different types of tacos, enchiladas, tortas, and many other Mexican specialties. They have a wide selection of Mexican sodas and horchata. Three tacos come in an order and two orders are more than enough for one person.Vegetarian options: There is a large vegetarian selection.Parking: Only street parking is available and as it is a busy area it may be limited.Kid-friendliness: Great for the whole family.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant does not appear to be wheelchair accessible. The aisles are too narrow to navigate.

No frills place. I was at the old location, unsure about the new location. Food was tasty and seemed authentic. Would go there

I was excited . I was waiting all day for some brirria tacos after work just to get , Super dry tacos the dipping soup tasted like ravioli and had string beans in it ? Maybe im tripping idk . I didn't receive cilantro or onions like where they do that at? No cilantro ? With tacos??? Thats the best part . And my limes were dry i couldn't squeeze anything out of them ? . Green spicy sauce saved it i just drowned them with that cause i like spice. Wont be returning thanks .

Amazing food, very accommodating staff. Made sure everything was enjoyable and the right amount of spice.

got the burrito and carne asada dish. Carne asada was a bit chewy, not really tasty. For 10 bucks the burrito was good sized, but flavors are lacking. This place was recommend by many, but having lived in Texas and Arizona, I know the flavors are way better than what's offered here.

DISCLAIMER: They're currently moving to a full restaurant location... so that might have contributed to the medicore experience we had. Their grocery store is 80% out of stock, with only some spices and a few fridge items left. This place used to be a 5 star, but the last time we went the food was a bit lacking. We used to love to get their lengua tacos, but it wasn't on their online menu anymore so we settled for the campechanos (steak and chorizo) tacos, al pastor burrito, and a side of chips and guac. - The chips were great. They tasted like they were freshly fried. Guac was pretty good overall. - The al pastor burrito had great flavor, but where was the meat? - The campechonos tacos were mediocre at best. The meat was dry and not very flavorful (the salsa verde saved it, but it was quite spicy!) The service was great though. The lady at the front was nice and tried to converse even though her English wasn't great. They have little candies at the front for 4/$1. I got a few including watermelon chili & strawberry chili. If you like tajin, you'll love these. I'm really hoping this was a one off and their new restaurant is as good as they used to be, but for now I'll hold off on going back.

Please do not go if possible, the prices are not those that are on the menu, they are higher, the food is tasteless and the place if they would fix it up more beautiful at least it would have a better view, the girl who serves is nice what a little confused to have almost no customers and the other guy who also served us was very friendly and concerned if we liked everything, in general we had gone to that place because we were caught thanksgiving in New York and there was not a single restaurant open this was The only one that was open, my opinion is that if they put more effort and change the cook, their small business will undoubtedly rise.

Amazing food. Love everything here. You can never go wrong with tacos and some horchata from here. Only thing I would recommend would be to jazz up the inside a bit.

El pastor burrito más que el arroz burrito...I ordered the Al pastor burrito and it was 90% rice with about a spoonful of Al pastor, lettuce, and about one or two beans. Such a disappointment! My boyfriend and I frequently came here about 3 years ago. Because we loved that their Mexican food was authentic. Then last year our burrito was full of rice and very little meat just like today. The meat used to be sliced and today it was diced up into small cat food sized pieces. My boyfriend wanted cecina tacos and it was $16! He didn't get that, because who can afford that, and got al postor tacos and a bowl of meat and rice instead. The meat in the al postor tacos was also diced up into small cat food sized pieces and pretty dry. I feel bad for leaving such a bad review for a family owned business as I know times are tough. However if you are going to raise prices at least keep the quality of food the same.

Best tacos in Albany. As an out of stater finding good Mexican food in upstate ny is hard, this is the best I've found. Currently located in the back of a grocery store but they are moving to a full restaurant which is exciting. Their tinga and their Al pastor should not be missed. Their churros are also fantastic. Great prices, cozy atmosphere, located in the food epicenter of Albany
