The absolutely worst bar in Albany. The manager always seems to be on an ego trip.

12/10 dive bar experience (solid pours on the drinks, disgustingly good mozz sticks, and a pool table with a good crowd) EXCEPT for Juan Picasso...This absolutely sorry excuse of a human being, after being asked to jimmy open the locked women's bathroom by myself and another woman when a younger woman had been in there for over half an hour with no response, became clearly embarrassed to find her sitting on the toilet with her pants down. He then decided to try and hide his blatant embarrassment behind unwarranted anger and project those feelings onto me, saying sarcastically "Thanks for making me open the door..." before walking away?!Listen, you douche canoe, I'm sure by now you realized that the woman in there actually needed a little assistance - I only wish someone had made YOU clean up the vomit on the floor. Pick on someone your own size next time, eh? Your attempt to hide your personal insecurities and your inability to handle your "big feelings" behind a facade of machismo is laughable at best and incredibly sad at worst. If you own a bar, you take care of your people - I wouldn't be surprised if someone ends up dying on your watch. The bartender, Jeff, was cool, though. We like Jeff.

Interesting and reliable drink menu. They have a small patio in the back and a pool table. The primary virtue of this bar is that it closes at 4 AM. 2nd biggest virtue is that it is never too loud nor deserted. You can have a good conversation and not be too crowded. And their chorizo empanadas are very good.

Friendly white working class non-forced carbonated, natural Utica Club beer, pool table, neighborhood bar. No gangsta rap. Safe.

Evidently a great little neighborhood bar. Wood interior and a nicely preserved and distinctive sign out front.

My friends and I basically lived here 30 yrs ago! It makes me so happy this place is still going strong! What a gem.

I go at night to play on the bar game machine from back in the day as a 90s kid nostalgia. It's still has the old vibe of an old school bar with a pool table, darts, and a built in wall jukebox that actually works. It's a dive bar for sure, winter coffee was too high up there and the bartender and I laughed. I'll have to bring some hot coffee over and I'll buy the shots, we can meet halfway and be a rocking time haha.

A dive with a small town feel to it. Decent jukebox selection. The crowd varies from day to day but is generally good. The bartenders are awesome, but management is not great and it shows here and there.

I advanced along a dimly lit street when I noticed a dark public house among a nebulous cluster of dueling voids. I was assured by some sort of sprite in the entryway that "this place will be different from the others". That sprite was not seen again. I entered. Shimmering symbols slid off of the faces of these ethereal champions of suggestion. The symbols drip off of their brightly flashing faces and collect in pools at their feet. I was very impressed by the building clouds of symbolic and emotional energy that rose in steaming clouds over those feet. Although they never explicitly threatened me, I was acutely aware of their ability to lob strong bolts of energy towards me, as is common in folksy establishments such as these. I was never afraid. There were so many interesting inhabitants to observe. The drinks were enjoyable and the staff are pleasing to interact with! I will return.
