Mouth-watering and thoughtful menu with creative, nuanced and seasonal inspirations for both food and beverage options. I was very impressed by the shishito peppers, general tso’s chicken bites, french dip and the espresso martini. The apps were perfectly battered, crispy and flavorful. The French dip just hit so right- tender meat, savory au jus, warm, perfectly toasted bread. The fries were perfect- exactly what you’d imagine if you are craving fries! And the highlight of our entire night was our bartender Halsey. Her genuine care in curating our experience cannot be matched. She made great suggestions, interjected with playful humor, read when our group wanted time to chat amongst ourselves, and made a PHENOMENAL cocktail. I mean, the most serious espresso martini anyone could hope for without the overstated hipster flair. 10/10. Would go back just for her. Watching her interact with her other bar guests was also a treat- it’s easy to see how she can command the room & keeps a mighty fine bar! Will certainly be back!

Found my new favorite spot at 605. Food was on point, burgers were giant and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Thanks to Halsey at the bar my drink was always full! Will be back!

This is a MUST GO to restaurant for any person who wants to impress a visitor to the area or just wants a night out anytime to enjoy delicious, beautifully prepared, dishes by the notable chef Gabe. And everyone needs the experience you'll have when trying the expertly made, creative drinks presented to you by the gorgeous and personable, always smiling mixologist, Halsey. When anyone comes through the front door of Restaurant 605 there is a sophistication and consistency a patron can count on and an energy that is inviting. Your money and your time will definitely be well spent and your first time will never be your last!! GO!!

We went in at 5:30 pm on Saturday and it was already packed we had to wait for a while. They don't take reservations unless it's a big group so you may want to avoid busy hours. The servers were nice and food came relatively fast. We had smash burgers and fried chicken sandwich. My husband really liked his burger but I thought mine was just ok. It's totally personal preference l would say. For casual dining this is ok place.

Tried the smash burgers here and they did not disappoint. This is the best smash burger I've found in Albany so far.

I was at your restaurant about a month ago and you didn't have many food choices, also the food my friend and i saw advertised online wasn't on the menu. I enjoyed my appetizer was just looking for more choices on the menu.

I honestly will never step foot in the door here again, I have been coming here for quite some time (Andy’s days). The bartender with the dark hair is extremely rude and talks back to customers girl is a nuisance to the business and their customers. Service has definitely plummeted. Atmosphere is totally

The food was amazing!!!!! The 605 smash burger was top notch. ( I got mine without the bacon) I have tried many burgers before, but this restaurant tops even my favorite burger place called The Shake Shack. Definitely going back again. I celebrated my birthday there with the family and they all enjoyed their food as well. If you want reservation the most they can fit at their low table is between 8-10 people, but the have high seating too and nice booths.. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The place was clean. I hope nothing, but success for this business. I will be back! Keep it up!Only con: hope they give more options for a kids menu and drinks.

Amazing experience at restaurant 605! The service and food are out of this world. Highly recommend the calamari and general tso's cauliflower. Not usually a fan of smash burgers but these burgers were phenomenal. Will definitely be back to try the French dip!

The food here is outstanding - like *really* outstanding. It’s great to have a pace like this in the neighborhood. We’ve been about 5 times since they opened. We’d go more often but there are 2 downsides that stop us. The acoustics are not good - the place is really loud with cacophonous crowd noise. But this is fixable with proper acoustical treatment - well placed noise dampening panels/wood on the ceiling and walls, and some rugs on the floor would go a long way. The other thing is all the TVs. Good lord with the huge screens visually screaming at you as you try to eat, not sure why restaurants think this is a good idea. I totally understand it on a Sunday afternoon during football season, but in a place with food of this high quality it makes little sense to me to have TVs blaring sports games on a Friday evening when I want to enjoy a relaxing dinner. I think 605 is stuck between wanting to be a sports bar and quality restaurant serving well crafted food and the 2 don’t work well together in this space. My point here is to provide constructive feedback - I’m still giving it 5 stars based on the food - hoping to improve what has potential to be a tremendous neighborhood restaurant.
